Pretty good half on the whole.. Need another goal, obviously, to kill it off.

Valencia got a lot of criticsm for attacking game but he looks now like prime Dani Alves comparing to AWB. In attacking area of course
No he doesn't. Just because he could carry the ball and cross aimlessly it doesn't mean it was efficient by any means. I reckon Bissaka doesn't create any less than Valencia despite being far worse on the ball. Valencia final ball is one of the worst thing you'll see on football pitch, despite being good at getting in good position with it.

Great first half. Need more cutting edge to get that 2nd goal.

We should be dominating this team in the second half now. No more lulls.

Fred is still a bit lightweight in midfield. Sometimes he loses out on challenges too often and falls over, leaving his man with a free run at goal.

Playing quite well. Rashford is prolific. Good save by De Gea but Cantwell telegraphed the shot big time.

Actually unreal how dumb Valencia was with his delivery/timing of pass.

Comfortable half for us for the most part. We still look like we are going to gift them a goal at times, but other than that we have been controlling the game well.

Only disappointment would be that we are not really creating many actual chances.

Reminiscent of the Fergie days, where we used to just overwhelm teams with waves and waves of attacks.

Need another goal because our midfield is a bit lightweight and prone to being dispossessed. Fred at the end there wasn't able to win the ball, fell down and gave cantwell that chance.

Need to get Martial on track because he has been half a step slow so far.
We've seen this before but we lack consistency. You get there only by getting better and winning games.

Linfelöf and his sorry ass headers pisses me off.
Apart from that decent game. Poor in the final third but apart from that controlled the game. Norwich are wank but pretty solid defensively

Mata whilst declined massively, is well suited to this game and you can bet he will be directly involved in Martial or Rashford bagging a goal today.

Apart from Pogba, when was the last time we had a peak world class creative midfielder in our team? Scholes in 2008? #Bruno
Called it before the game. We’re crying out for a peak creative midfielder

Rashford and Mata have been great. Everyone else good, bar Tony who's been poor
Someone a few posts up said Tony’s had a solid first half. Why’d you think he’s been poor?

Not watching the game btw so I don’t have a clue

They players are crying out for better coaching and the improvement in cutting edge and game management will be huge without necessarily changes in personnel.

You cant always visibly see an end product from pressing teams unless the player is actually winning the ball off the defending teams. Then its clear. Today Andreas hasnt really won the ball of Norwich but his pressing has still been extremely evidently successful. I counted at least 4 times that half where a Norwich outfield player, or even the keeper, were closed down by Pereira and despite him not intercepting or tackling the player, the Norwich player would wilt under the pressure and make a mistake with their pass or clearance and we'd win the ball back.

Pretty good half from a lot of our players, especially Rash and Mata. Things don't seem to be coming off for Martial, but he's putting in a shift at least.

Quiet game so far but 2 moments of quality have us in the lead.

Norwich have been poor, we should be beating these by 4 no problem.

Martial and AWB have been terrible in the first half. Got to bring in someone who's capable of finding openings and that can pass the ball forward and not just sideways.

Losing the ball a bit cheaply mainly, he's done well at winning it back high up the pitch though

It's incredible that he can't win a header properly. Even those that he actually won like this one are just another lost ball for us.
