Don't have to count them. They stand out quite a bit.
Yes, they stand out specially to those who are gathered around bonfire performing eye gouging ritual in the name of their cult leader.

Taking the next corner instead of Jones!
Jose had them on the ropes in the first half, playing the football I want to see too, but he didn't anticipate such a fecking cunning plan from Poch as changing things up at HT  and he had no plan B once again!

He brought on Sanchez … I thought we were MUCH better without him – and I've said it for ages!

Once he brings on Fellaini we know we're in the shit!

But the opposition knows exactly what to expect when Jose makes these changes … after all they're his "go-to" changes and probably what Spurs trained for.

Jose nearly won me over tonight with that first half. They mentioned something on SKY comm that I don't think was too shy of the truth: Carrick walked into the technical area to pass a message to Jose just as Alan Smith was saying that Poch would not have expected the way United have set up … no-one did! He said, "Maybe that's the guy that came up with this formation". Herrera!

Still looks to me like Jose is happy to make a point that he's mot being supported … he's United's Donald Trump and BREXIT rolled into one!

BUT … I'm going to support him! That first half showed we CAN DO IT!

Moving this to the post match thread

People who think we’re magically a great team once Mourinho will be sacked are in for a surprise I reckon. He is not the right manager but our problems run far deeper than José Mourinho.

We got to start somewhere. Just because we won't be a #1 team when we sack him doesn't mean we shouldn't sack him. Sometimes change is good. It could kick start a campaign and instill confidence and fight in players in order to impress a new manager.

We simply lack the quality in defense. And we have been lacking for years. Unless Mourinho gets the squad he wants then it’s unfair to judge him as a failure IMO. We are turning in to an Arsenal. Our aim is CL qualification and the odd cup here and there.

Ed Woodward is our current manager, should explain a few things. As Jose said he feels more like haed coach than manager, anyone disagrees I do not give a shit, I have been a United fan since 1967. And never have I seen a situation like this where the club has been bought by someone so as to milk it dry. And that is what they are doing. Please people get Woodward out he is our main enemy right now.

Quality in defence? we have been taken over by a bunch of leeches, the guy who runs the club (Ed Woodward) decides who we sign, his football knowledge is zero and it has shown on the pitch. We are shite on the pitch and Woodward is to blame.

Yeah, keep pretending that I'm counting your smileys. I can't help but notice though, since every time you see one, you can bet that there's a high chance your name is above.

It must be because of the age difference though. My 12 year old kid's texts look similar to your posts.

To be fair to Jose he has not been backed by the club, A certain Mister Ed Woodward has decided that we only need one new major signing and has gone ahead with that and signed Fred. Ok Fred can be a help for us maybe, but to be serious WTF is Woodward thinking of? If we leave our fate to Woodward we will be looking at a top 15 spot maximum We look very disorganised and short in many areas of the pitch. What will Ed do against that? maybe sign another tractor sponsor. While most clubs are looking for new players our ed is out scouting tractors or tampons. That idiot needs to be removed. Get him out or die.

    Hope, We Lose
He wasnt though) He ended up there a lot defensively though. In possession definately playing DM. We didnt defend the channels with our wingers this game (since we didnt play with any) and it made Herrera especially needing to defend the space between Valencia and Smalling.

But it doesnt really matter what you define Herreras position as tbh. I still think it was an interesting experiment.
He was right of Smalling and Jones.

A strange game. Bizarre line up, that had Valencia and Shaw very high up at times, seemingly with Herrera and others deputising at full back, and some missed chances with us a bit on top.

A mad 5mins second half and we're suddenly two down, and bar one Lukaku rampage for a shot, never looked likely to get back in it.

The third sealed it, but we were on the stretch then.
Didn't feel like a 3-0, like when City and Liverpool smashed us under Moyes.

However, you can't lose at home to a Spurs, and you can't lose two in a row, three games in.

He's a couple of bad results off an axing. It's inevitable we're sneaking around talking to people now.

So it’s just Josés fault for individual errors?
Do you actually think that we lost that match because of individual errors only ?

You can blame José for plenty of things. The attitude of the players clearly isn't right, as publicly said by Pogba last week. It's down to the manager to have that right. José is picking the style of play. He is running the training. Practically every player in the squad seems to have regressed under his stewardship. He should be helping players improve. He is also picking the team. Of all the money he has spent, his whole defence was brought in before he was. Despite spending 60 odd million on centre backs, he still picks the calamity couple of Jones and Smalling to play against Harry Kane. Mourinho picked them.
