Well there is no way we stop Liverpool scoring whilst scoring three. I can't see us winning this replay either as our away form sucks ass so unfortunately I still think we are winning Feck all and not getting fourth. The performance was slightly better today but we are still pretty awful. Just want Louis gone in summer, I'd take that over a shock Wales Euro finals win.

I did not even notice that Fellaini or Carrick were on the pitch.
DDG was his usual excellent self
Smalling was OK, not the best performance but didn't do much wrong.
Varela was really good, great young player who I hope makes it here.
Blind is shit, he plays at CB for his passing which has now also turned to shit. Whether that's down to him or fatigue I don't know.
Rojo was OK, could have done considerably better.
Carrick with another anonymous performance.
Fellaini is a tree.
Herrera actually tried to make things happen.
Rashford had his runs constantly ignored over and over again.
Martial was OK, he is our best outfield player and it's his first season here my god...
Lingard only does defensive work, he does jackshit where it matters for most of the game.

Bastian forced the game over and made us start playing better as soon as he came on.
Memphis was actually alright aside from some poor decision making.
Darmian barely played so it was hard to judge.

His job will be a piece of cake, he'll have our fans coming up with as many excuses for any failures as the press already do for him. Look at how the end of his reign at Chelsea is portrayed by both, i.e. the players gave up on him.
