I can't remember the last time I was so bored watching us.

Excited, angry, frustrated, ashamed....Been like that almost every match since SAF left us.

But never bored like I am today.

Is it our style or Wolves style that's making me feel this way ??
Bored for the first time? LVG, Jose remember them?

I’m of the same opinion, 2 longer tha. Usual injuries which was atleast 4 minutes.
It happens in both halves, often there will be 6 subs and a couple goals and there will be 3 mins added time?

Slothchester United! We are playing so slow, we really need to speed up our play in the second half.

Just why doesn't Ole play Martial & Greenwood in a partnership - Martial can't play striker by himself.

Such poor tactics consistently - he does not understand the players, their strengths and weaknesses.
I love James but he's gassed. Greenwood in for him would work.

People thinking the striker is a problem when our 10 can barely get into the game  We have a awful coaching team

Fernandes is only as good as those around him. He has qualities to feed anyone up front, but when they lack EVERYTHING, it becomes an impossible task for anyones in his position. He tries to find ANY space to get the ball, everyone else just hides.
    This is a coaching problem.

Shambolic performance. Wolves are a much better managed team than us
That's a bit steep, it's far from shambolic, we're just lacking a bit up front.

Dalot for Mata, Greenwood for Pereira and push him up front alongside Martial in a 442 with James-Fred-Bruno-Dalot; Martial-Greenwood and we'll have this cracked.

Greenwood for James hopefully soon. Pray that Martial gets his head into the game.

Otherwise, keep pressing. We outmatch them but with us having no end product they're in a great position to hit us on the counter late.

I don't really get the Martial bashing, isn't he at the heart of two of Fernandes shots? And he was free in the box when Fernandes chose to shot the last time.
Find it quite bizarre. It's literally Martial that's keeping the Wolves backline busy.

Poor half. Nothing much to right home about. We look out of ideas as usual. Martial I think has fallen over everytime he's touched the ball. Perreira yet another poor performer in this game. A lot of the others quiet. Fernandes has tried to make things happen with a few attempted passes and shots. He looks like a player who hasn't had any real time to train with this team though.

I can't believe I'm about to type this, but I can't wait until Ighalo is fit. Martial needs dropping...again.

What's he supposed to do, turn his defender and dribble past the entire backline? Difficult to be an effective forward when you have James on your left who jogs at this marker and then cnuts it into their chest or AWB who has a 75% chance of losing control of his legs. I forgot we had Mata flying down our right wing putting in dangerous balls. Oh wait, he's too busy cluttering up the middle of the pitch.

If you want to hear the truth, Fernandes was shit. Everyone bar Fred and Maguire was shit.

    Half our players look knackered.
A small squad and a season in the Europa league, it’s no surprise we look gassed at this point.
The likes of James, Martial maybe even Pereira need a decent rest, but we don’t have the depth to offer them it.

I am not going to call out anyone. What I will say is it disgusts me how often the players in our squad will pick the easy pass instead of try to open the game up. The space is there in behind Wolves. They are not defending that well. However, every time it appears the player on the ball chickens out of trying the killer pass. Some of those out there are contributing as much to our attack as the Wolves defence.
It’s difficult to make that killer pass when Martial doesn’t run behind, lazy and wants everything to feet but can’t hold the ball up. James can’t get past people and Mata, well predictably runs towards the center of the pitch. There is no movement at all. Everything is stagnant. I’m not sure if this is coaching or just the forwards not being intelligent to make good runs anymore.

Keep a clean shit tomorrow, United is my final bus
James should be getting the ball, drawing the defenders in then trying to find Bruno on the edge of the box. Somebody like Mata needs needs to make decoy runs to create space for Bruno because he looks most likely to score.

We've had all the ball but wolves are the team in control.

We’re gonna need plenty of shots of Ole giving the lads a furious rollicking to generate some modicum of excitement and interest. Could eventually feel bit like scoring an actual goal

We need to get Greenwood on to provide Martial with some more support, because he's far too isolated. hopefully having another striker in close proximity, with one moving into the space when the other drops deep will give Bruno some more options for balls in behind, because Mata's too deep and narrow and James is just ineffective.

We're too scared of Wolves, and as Neville said, lot of focus on getting back in shape and cutting out counter attacks.

I'd like to see them take more risks, more runs into the box from Pereira / Fernandes, need better link up play from Martial as well. He's getting bullied out there.

    poorly coached attack.
It’s bugger all to do with poorly coached.... unless of course you reckon that Ronaldo only became the player he has because of coaching....or Cantona or Law or Best or Charlton or .......need I go on. Truth is that Martial is and always has been totally overrated and the sooner we get rid of the better. James is what he is and what we expected him to be before the season started, amely a squad player and potentially one for the future. Certainly not a regular starter for this season. As for Mata his best days are behind him. Once in awhile he will remind us of how good he was in his heyday but those reminders are few and far between.
