I have a good feeling about this match. Which means we'd lose or draw. People talking about them being knackered but watch, they'll be fresh as ever running all over the pitch and us look like snails drooling all over the pitch.

I was really impressed with themast night v spurs. Nero was phenomenal. If they had Jimenez upfront they would've easily won the game. This won't be an easy fixture for us but I'm hoping tiredness will be a factor here. A nervy 2-1 victory

I’m convinced people don’t watch Wolves because the way they are being rated in here is hilarious. Most posters are citing Adama as a major threat, yet he has no goals or assists in the PL in a year, while Wolves are scoring at a rate of one per game while conceding at a greater rate than previously. Given their lack of turnaround time since playing Tottenham, anything less than a United win here would be absolutely unacceptable.

Agree on Traore, I’ve never seen it with him, shows the odd flash of quality but in the main is very average imo. Do like Neto though, and there is quality in the side in other areas.

The festive fixtures have been relatively kind to us giving an extra days rest and hopefully that will be telling.

    Any update on AWB ?

Thankfully Ole will have learned his lesson on starting James and get Greenwood in. Elsewhere I’d start Cavani and throw in DVDB instead of McTom . We need to get at those from the start. We’ve had over 30 hours rest more than them and we’ve a far superior squad.

Absolutely no excuses for this one only 3 points .

The Caf has an odd fascination with Traore. He seems to be regarded as a top winger, one of the best in the league when in reality he's not even a guaranteed starter for Wolves.

He's strong and fast and a decent dribbler but that's about it. The huge muscles make him stand out in people's minds I think, that's why he is so inexplicably highly rated.

Of course, now he'll score a hat-trick just because I was talking shit about him.

We’ll continue to give possession cheaply throughout this game and will need moments of magic from one or two players to rescue us. We will concede at least one goal but the question is how many can we score? Perhaps we won’t score this time. I can see us losing this one. Not hoping for it. But have a funny feeling about it.

I wanted to see Cavani in for this one, I’ve always been a Martial fan but something isn’t right. I just read what Scholes said though about how when Greenwood, Martial and Rashford start with Bruno behind we can be unplayable and I agree, it’s what got us 3rd and I’m even going to swallow my pride and put Pogba in. This is my lineup.
    De Gea,
    AWB
    Bailly
    Maguire
    Shaw
    Fred
    Pogba
    Fernandes
    Greenwood
    Rashford
    Martial

I do hope James does not play

They should be knackered with only 48 hours of rest. Think we will win this one
They're mostly a 2nd half team too. That's why we need to start like the Everton game and run them ragged before the break. They'll have nothing left in the tank later on.

How many times have we started with Greenwood, Martial, Rashford this season? I don't know but it doesn't seem like we've played it much this season and would like us to start playing that trio again. I completely understand if Cavani starts this game, but soon I'd like us to return to that trio after how they performed towards the back-end of last season.

We were most unplayable last season when we played Fred/Matic + Pogba in a 2, with Bruno in the #10 role, and Greenwood, Martial, Rashford ahead. I'd like to see that soon! We can have Cavani ahead of Martial to see how that works too, I don't mind.

If AWB is training, then he will play I think.

    De Gea
    AWB Bailly Maguire Shaw
    McTominay Fred
    Rashford Bruno Martial
    Cavani

Gotta fit in Pogba somehow, so I guess him instead of McTominay. If Rashford can't play, then that makes the decision easier.

He’s been less productive in the PL in the past year than Dan James, let’s just let that sink in for a moment.

I think you’re right in that Traore looks so unusual and has good fundamentals like his first touch, strength, speed and close dribbling, but what people are failing to see is that – bar one season that looks increasingly like a purple patch – he’s never consistently put it all together.

I'd throw Henderson in for this one. Perhaps I'm being a little harsh, but I felt that De Gea could've done more for the Barnes goal. Also think Henderson is more vocal, which is something De Gea has never been good at.

As for the attack, Cavani MUST start over Martial. There's no reason why Martial should be starting this one. He's contributed very, very little this season.

One win in seven games against Wolves (1W, 4D, 2L) with a measly four goals scored. Has a draw written all over it.

Really average record against this lot over the last few years.
About time we gave them a going over.

One day more rest for us and Jiminez out is a huge loss for them. While we're bubbling up into some decent attacking football.

I don't think Wolverhampton team have a big squad and with only one-two day rest they will need to make some changes. I don't see how they will have energy levels that would hurt us. And with them already having some problems in attacking way, I hope and believe that we should win this.

I have a feeling that Fernandes will start on the bench with deBeek taking his place. I have the same feeling with Martial. Otherwise, I wouldn't want us changing a complete team because of the rythm. 5-6 changes is enough.

    Cavani
    Rashford - deBeek - Greenwood/Mata
    Matic - Pogba
    Shaw, Maguire, Bailiy, Tuanzebe
    DeGea

3 days after the Leicester game, and 3 days before the Villa one, we must use the squad and rotate some players if we want fresh legs during this run of game.

Wolves, even if they will be tired after the 60mins, will be difficult to break and we will have to fight for this.

    My team :

    --------------------------------------Henderson-------------------------------------
    Williams-------------Maguire---------------Bailly---------------------Telles
    ---------------------------Matic------------------Pogba----------------------------
    Greenwood---------------------Bruno-------------------------------Rashford
    ----------------------------------------Cavani-------------------------------------------

It’s strange but only if we win will I look back on the last few months and think we’ve been on a good run of form.

The team I'd like to see:

    --------------------Henderson--------------------
    Williams--Lindelof-- Maguire--Shaw
    ------------Pogba--------Fred------------
    Greenwood--Bruno--Rashford
    --------------------Cavani--------------------

Expect United to control the game, but waste a lot of chances. 2-1 victory. 1 goal conceded from a set piece to make it a bit more of a nervy ordeal than the stats would indicate.

Doubt if Williams comes in at RB. Neto will have him on toast. AWB or Axel if he's not fit

Wouldnt surprise me if Wolves get motivated and use us as getting back to form.
I'm starting to think we are becoming harder to beat.
Wolves should be beaten tomorrow. We've got the top of the league in sight. Let that sink in.
Two wins in the next two might see us top when we go to Anfield

Apparently, Rashford and Lindelof (no surprise) are doubts for this game. Over long-term shoulder and back injuries. Due to the severity of Rashford's injury last season, I wouldn't risk him if this is the case.

    De Gea
    AWB--Bailly--Maguire--Shaw
    Matic--Pogba
    Greenwood--Bruno--VdB
    Cavani

Subs: Henderson; Tuanzebe, TFM, Telles; McTominay, Fred; Lingard, James; Martial

(obviously this is if Rash and Lindelof are out)

The scousers may drop point to either Newcastle or Southampton, so getting 6 points from Wolves and Villa would set us up perfectly at Anfield.

We should win this one, their attack has suffered so much without Jimenez.

If we can keep their wingers quiet then it'll be ours to lose.

I don't feel Wolves are a counter-attacking team. They usually dominate possession. They are one of the most boring teams in terms of their style, it's very Van Gaal-esque.

Not seen them enough this season but last season's games against United were a complete borefeset of one team saying 'you can have possession and we'll counter' and the other team saying 'no YOU can have possession and we'll counter'. I was praying we wouldn't meet them in the Europa league last year as I was traumatized enough from the other games

The extra 24 hours rest and better squad depth should really count in our favour. Can't see anything other than a United win despite the fact that they're a good team.
