Really disappointing. No creativity and horrible decision making. Sociedad pressed well but United were sluggish all game and really it wouldn’t have taken a lot to get that second goal. There wasn’t much risk taking and very little overlapping. Anytime we had wide men in positions to attack we’d make the decision to pass backwards instead. A sour taste given the soft pen in the first leg decided it.

I could see this coming , I was confident we would win but by 1 goal haven't scored enough this season. Ie batterd spurs got 2, Same away at Leicester only 1. Even when we've realy controlled games haven't scored enough goals.

OK suck it up we play imo who we get on paper a tough one. No matter now just have to get on with it. Its a shity format change but it is what it is. 15 out of 18 pts and you have to go into a play off!!!! Well done UEFA. Just bring them on two 1-0 wins job done.

I've written this season off so results don't really matter. But I do hope the football to be good. Today it's not. Tbh I've no idea why we could play Spurs off the park but looked like we couldn't string two passes together against a pretty average team and had to resort to Mourinhoball. Football is weird sometime I guess.

Making too much of these playoff games to be honest. Another W (away as well), another clean sheet, through to the play-off round, which ain't till Feb anyway. We'll most likely be stronger and better by then too.

I don't fear any of those teams dropping down anyway

You can play in all three Euro comps in the same season if you're bad enough, starting with the CL qualifiers I think. It's not just MP's, bankers and Chief Execs that make a fortune from failure.
