Memphis with a wonderful assistRemember last season we folded over in the first half, was a pathetic display.
Arnautovic and Bojan destroyed us, let's hope we will be more up for it after the Liverpool game.

Exactly what I was thinking. Now that Klopp and Lallana showed how to nullify Carrick's influence, I wonder if other teams will try it.
Eh? When did this nonsense happen! I think I'll stick to calling it the Britannia..Can we start Mata? I'd like that.... though I reckon he'll go for Lingard/Fellaini (or both)
In other news, I had no idea their stadium was called the Bet365 stadium.
It would be a huge mistake to drop him. The stats with/without Carrick speak for themselves.Carrick should come back in. We cant let ONE game against a decent opposition with a specific style of play to make us abandon our winning formula.
People have known how to nullify Carrick for years now. He's no rookie. It's just hard to do.Now that Klopp and Lallana showed how to nullify Carrick's influence, I wonder if other teams will try it.
Like this is Carrick's first season or something. Now that Klopp and Lallana showed how to nullify Carrick's influence, I wonder if other teams will try it.
I know, I hate fecking corporations taking over naming rights of classic stadiums.Eh? When did this nonsense happen! I think I'll stick to calling it the Britannia..
The Brittania Building society is kind of a corporation too though?I know, I hate fecking corporations taking over naming rights of classic stadiums.
but britannia was also a naming right. You lot were just used to the name.I know, I hate fecking corporations taking over naming rights of classic stadiums.
We won 2-0 there under Moyes in the League Cup I believe, I remember it raining incredibly hard and our fans were chanting non stop all game. That was the last of our 13 game unbeaten run against them too (12W, 1D), since then we've won 2, drawn 2 and lost 2.We were the only team who didn't struggle with Stoke until Ferguson retired. Since then we haven't won there. We are surely due a win now.
True, but Brittania Stadium sounds better to me than Bet365 Stadium. The Brittania Building society is kind of a corporation too though?
Call it the new Victoria ground!
Just 100? Thought he'd have more than that. He's been around since I can remember.Just read Crouch is on 99 Premier League goals so that's a lock he'll get the 100th on Saturday and do the Robot.
Agree with this. Liverpool had the players who are capable to man mark Carrick, while Stoke might don't have the players to do such a job. To be honest though, we were better in first half against Liverpool than in second half before Fellaini came on. Carrick will give more balanced in midfield for sure and provide more freedom for Herrera and Pogba. Same trio Carrick Herrera Pogba.Carrick should come back in. We cant let ONE game against a decent opposition with a specific style of play to make us abandon our winning formula.
It use to be very good, particularly against the big teams. Recent times they have been on TV, it has not sounded too good. They perform best when their team are the underdogs. For those of us that have never been to Stoke's home ground, what's the game atmosphere like?
It's on Sky Sports 5. They seem to be showing some 3pm KO's this season. Which is great. Is this on sky or BT?
I'm sure that is only to people in Ireland? It's on Sky Sports 5. They seem to be showing some 3pm KO's this season. Which is great.
Ah. That makes sense. I don't think it's happened before, though. Either that or I spent last season missing a shit-load of 3pm games I could have been watching!I'm sure that is only to people in Ireland?
Their record against teams in the top six has been shocking this season, home and away. In fact I think the only one they've taken points from is us.Probably the biggest banana skin from our upcoming winnable fixtures.
We need to be on our game here.
