Yes, quite an achievement to start with the previous game line up. They say well begun is half done.
They only played for an hour to be fair.He was happy with the Newcastle game, makes sense to keep it but for the fact the players might be fatigued.... Hopefully we can play with some intensity still.
Ever been to IKEA?Di Maria still hasn't reconnected his leg to his pelvis then.
Thing with mata is he can only work with a frontline that works with him. Static players don't help him. Rvp and falcao have brilliant movement as shown against Newcastle which opens it up for mata.Good side. As much as I hate 3-5-2, it's hard to change the formation or lineup after a very good performance against Newcastle.
Will be interested to see how Mata does. Tough away game, he's been criticised for being a non-factor in such games but hopefully he has an impact today and the front 2 can get a few goals.
Ffs, was there a hinge missing?Ever been to IKEA?
There for the taking as long as Jones doesn't chokeslam Eriksen or somethingLloris, Chiriches, Fazio, Vertonghen, Davies; Mason, Stambouli; Chadli, Eriksen, Townsend; Kane
Broken ribs, no?Good team, nice to see a bit of continuity for once. However, I still can't help but feel frustrated by the fact that 5 of our 6 new signings aren't starting, we have been so unlucky on the injury front.
Also what is this illness that fellaini has that is keeping him out for so long, and what is up with Herrera? Nice to see Shaw and Rafael back on the bench though.
pelvis injuryNo de Maria on the bench?
So what you're saying is that it's not the same?Shaw for Blackett aside, the bench is also the same.
Eriksen through on goal, RKO out of nowhere! There for the taking as long as Jones doesn't chokeslam Eriksen or something
