Keep Rashford at CF and tell him if he wins us this game he's cemented himself as first choice there ahead of Lukaku. That's what he wants more than anything else, so let him earn it. We've all seen how completely unplayable he is when he's got that fire in him - no defence in the world can completely shut him down when he's in that mood.

The start is vital. we can win if we keep it tight and don't concede silly early goal. Spurs will just sit back and we'll be left vulnerable to sucker punch. Keep it tight at the beginning of game. The longer it stays 0-0 the better , I expect us to be considerably fresher in the latter stages.
Should approach it typical united way, go for killer blows at the start, relax bit a in the middle stages and play on the counter absorbing some pressure and lets see if we need something to fight for in the end and go for a result in the end with strong bench strength including fellani if we need a battering ram in final stages in extra time.

My only concern is our defence which lacks a bit of quality and Ariel prowess but midfield and attack wise we are very well equipped to overwhelm spurs.

Got full faith that we can come away with a positive result

Unless we’re traveling by boat we shouldn’t have any concerns about mermaids.

We need to remember where we were a couple of months ago if we lose today. The future is brighter than under Mourinho regardless of today's result.
I'm somewhat optimistic, but Spurs are clear favourites for this one lads. 70/30 imo.

    Red Card for Casemiro!
I want to hear a half time analysis where pundits are talking about how Ole's tactics have countered Spurs by putting them on the back foot and not allowed them to play their game. At full time, I want to hear how we deservedly won or undeservedly dropped points. And how Ole perhaps should be the next manager if continues to get performances like that against big teams. I want the cynics to say 'but Spurs has X reasons to not win' and 'PSG will be his proper test'.

Basically, I want us to dominate the game, irrespective of the result.

God damn it. Currently applying for our first mortgage and if successful I need every penny I can get to pay moving costs etc. Work just rang asking me to cover a shift and I need to take it, my partner and I are taking every shift we can get at the moment.

But I have been looking forward to this game for weeks :(

Say yes, go to work. Fake a heartattack 10 mins before the game. Watch the game on a travel tv in ambulance. Still get paid while watching United!

Don't get me wrong - of course Spurs are favourites. BUT...I just feel that the Spurs' central midfield is a weak link - at least compared to the rest of the team.

Dier and Wanyama are out - and probably Dembele. That probably leaves Eriksen, Sissoko and Winks again - and none of them are that strong reliable enforcer that Spurs often use.

On a good day - we can hurt them

Big one this. Need to win really. City, Liverpool, Wolves and Barca have already won there this season so it's hardly some impossible mountain. Hopefully we can do it. The first proper look at seeing what Ole has really changed.

Wouldn’t like to see this message at all. Firstly, how does he feel if, as is more likely, he does NOT win us the game? And much as I’m not a fan, how does Lukaku feel if his rival is directly told that he’ll be guaranteed to start games?

Such a message helps nobody I think.

Jones to make a point costing error that will jog the club into buying a commander CB in the next 5 days. Bless his heart

This is the game we will see how much we have improved and how Ole and staff compete with the set up and tactics to win against a top 4 team away.

I can’t wait for the game. The combination of time passed between this one and the last one, and the fact that Ole’s United is completely untested against top opponents makes is so interesting and unbearable to wait.

If it is anything like the last few weeks the only talk will be about Poch going to Utd - Ole staying isn't in their minds right now as it doesn't generate clicks.

Martial must play because he's the only LW. If Rom starts it better be on the right instead of Jesse. But we have to stick with the first choice front three
Rashford has been pushed out to the left on the two occasions when OGS has had him and Lukaku playing together

No back up for defence. Where's Darmian?

    Am seeing a 4-2 scoreline either way:D

Where are all our defenders? We are fecked when Jones hobbles off in the first few minutes of the game.

Yep, we are fecked. Matic is gonna have to a job in defence since Jones will be all over the shop just like he always is against good opposition.
