Absolute joke of a second half performance. When Son scored the equaliser I'd have taken the draw there and then because they were cutting us open at will.

I don’t get it myself. Yeah it’s not great giving up a 2 goal lead but in terms of 4th a point was always a good result here
Its a good result for the us vs Spurs race for top 4, but a poor result for the us vs Liverpool/Villa/Brighton race.

Who would you have subbed on, then?
Sabitzer better than the hapless Fred. And why take Wan Bissaka off? He had a super game.. It is almost like he is always subbed whether playing well or not. Weghorst should be nowhere near this team. And what did Antony and Sancho do wrong? First time i have lost my rag at Ten Hag decisions

Rio rightly criticising the choice of 2nd half subs.
Why Fred, when Sabitzer has been in decent form and gives us more control?
Fred came on against Brighton and made us a lot as a unit. To me, putting on Fred wasn't the issue. His performance; however, was poor when he came on, which isn't something ten Hag can't control.

The questionable sub was Weghorst. He came on to play as an 8, which meant pushing Bruno out wide. Didn't get that at all!

Well, look at the bright side, at least we are not Arsenal, two games 2-0 lead and ended up 2-2, bye bye PL title.
We just dropped out of EL, and then instead of 3 points we have one.

Nah, f**k the bright side, not feeling any better.

Tell you what lose against Villa and you have to start looking over your shoulder.

A draw at Spurs isn't a disgrace but it showed how poor we are at holding a lead again. Why do we only play well for one half, it's doing my head in.
We actully didnt play that we first half either. They kept getting in behind and making the wrong choice. We continued the same way second half.

Wout is a very strange hill for ETH to die on

Fred and Martial were shocking, you'd think with their futures at threat they'd pull their fingers out

    The bench is woeful

If I'm Pellistri id leave, is he s**t in training or something?

That just sums Fred up though doesn't it. He can be great, then he can be bloody awful as well, careless with the ball, stupid fouls.

Yes, agreed. Shaw has been a very good player for United especially the last couple of seasons and has slotted at CB as well, but with United winning nothing in recent seasons and the pastings we have received the last couple of seasons would be enough for outsiders to not rate him very highly.
If anyone watched him play regularly they would rate him but most fans will only watch full games of the team they support so it is understandable.

2 polar opposite halves. We've got to start going for the kill when we're on top.
Before the game I'd have taken a point. At half time I was chuffed. 2nd half was poor. But its bigger than one half. We've played way more than most, including going to penalties at the weekend.
This does feel like a loss after the furst half, but I'm not going to implode like many on here. Still very confident of top 4.

Casemiro”s worst game for us by a mile
He’s had a few like this recently.
His previous form has completely been lost.
Sloppy, no conviction at times and looks gassed.

No leaders on the pitch at all
This has been a problem for a long time.
There’s no steel in this team, from midfield to the forward line and no dominant characters imposing discipline on the team.
It‘s not only lack of effort, these players appear to be physically and mentally unable to impose themselves when the opposition is in possession.

We are absolutely stumbling towards the finish line like a drunk tramp that stood up too fast. It's horrific to watch and it seems the team are absolutely done this season.
and therefore you wish we finish outside Top4? ridiculous and Im being nice here... we are still 6 points ahead of spurs and played two games less than them...also next season is a fresh start with hopefully some good transfers as well. I get that it was a frustrating game but come on.

It was a really poor second half but, despite Spurs being soundly beaten last week, they are fifth and challenging for a top four place. They were also at home, new caretaker manager and looking to respond.

United did their usual. They played very well in the first half with every pass coming off and defensively we were sound. Second half and we struggled to hold our shape and our passing became more wayward. Our substitutions are just not good enough. We also don't ever seem to change shape - we just substitute like for like despite having players on the bench several levels below those on the pitch. That's something on ETH even if he is hamstrung by who he can bring on.

It's disappointing but to be honest we didn't deserve a win over the 90. We got a point away from home against a top 4 rival (and we are shit away from OT). Just need to nail those games in hand to keep Liverpool at bay.

Awful 2nd half and the strange subs didnt help, Fred was terrible.

2 points thrown away when we should have been out of sight by half time.

The subs really weakened our team I thought. I'm really pigged off with Weghorst. He's a lower league player...the only way he's gonna score is if he mis-hits it or it bounces off the back of his head when he's not looking

Poor result after being 2 up, but it does make it even harder for teams to catch us. Pool would need to go on an incredible run and us to do an Arsenal for them to have any chance. Still think we will finish 3rd despite a very much depleted squad and too many miles in the legs.

It’s all well and good having games in hand but we are Man Utd not Man City. We can easily go on a streak of dropping points consistently.

I don’t see us getting three points from any of our remaining away games. So we basically need to not drop any at home, otherwise our god awful goal difference can feck us in the ass if we finish level on points with Liverpool for example.

I'm not going to be comfortable until we get a 3rd. Especially after being 2-0 up and coasting against Sevilla, only to squander it away in the final minutes.

Sancho has been good. Anthony needs to match him on the right. Rashford wasn't having his best game, up until the goal. So hopefully he gets a taste for it now. Casemiro isn't the same player he was prior to suspension. Hope he can pull it together soon. Where would we be without Bruno? He really does make this team tick.

Just look at that bit of "defending" from him for the goal.

    Fecking joke.
Yeah, that was.....something else. He was like a stuffed toy out there for the last 10-15 minutes he was on. Just looked switched off. Season-worst from him.

Spurs had 2 or 3 great chances come for that side.

Nothing new from him, couple of decent games but way too many shite performances like that.

    He has to go.

Switched over knowing we weren't winning it and sure enough I got the ping. We flopped after the subs. Can't see a fecking game out even when two goals up. It's mad.

Really poor subs yet again from the Boss!!
Who could he have realistically brought on? We were utter crap from the 1st minute of the 2nd half and he tried to shake things up a bit. Hindsight is wonderful but in the moment you play the cards you have.

I'm not saying ETH is infallible but yesterday was just like the tie against Sevilla: excellent and then crap within a short space.

Feels so much like a defeat and not a point gained.

Everything is still in our hands though.
