You'd think that we were about to play PSG, from the sounds of this place.I love the air of doom, destruction and despair here!
Ruddy Watford.

Can young play 3 games in a week?Predicted 4-3-3.
David
Valencia - Smalling - Rojo - Young
Matic
Herrera - Pogba
Lingard - Lukaku - Rashford.
WHo?Merson: Utd wont win next 2 games. City might have gone way ahead by derby
Chelsea will win next 8 games...
Is he an old man or does he have an injury on one knee like Valencia? He seems pretty fit.Can young play 3 games in a week?
He'll have a rest against Cska, but at the moment we need every possible attacking solution available. Can young play 3 games in a week?

Mourhino manages players according to fatigue levels. Is he an old man or does he have an injury on one knee like Valencia? He seems pretty fit.
I know, and it's true he went with England. But he already played Southampton, CSKA (only 67') and Crystal Palace in a week.Mourhino manages players according to fatigue levels.
I think it could be darmian , watford exposed our left wing last year. He'll have a rest against Cska, but at the moment we need every possible attacking solution available.

If we have any desire to win the league, then a point against Watford will not "do". Jesus wept, I cant think of a top 4 or even top 6 team ever considering this logic to be acceptable! Can't see us winning this one. A point will be OK.
I do that too. Annoying!Sometimes, in the prediction, I stick to what I think Mourinho should do in a game, not what I think he will do. For instance, in this one, I don't trust Lindelöf facing Richarlison directly, I would put Darmian as rightcenterback in 3-4-1-2.

Fellaini wasn't in the squad.----------de Gea
Valencia-Smalling-Rojo-Young
-----------Matic
-----Fellaini-----Pogba
Mkhitaryan--Lukaku--Rashford
Something like that but maybe Herrera for Fellaini, Lindelof for Rojo (fitness?), and Martial/Mata for Mkhitaryan.
Herrera then I guess.Fellaini wasn't in the squad.
Personally I think we'll get a 0-2 win.
Watford drew to Brighton at home as well. Lost to Stoke at home. Lost to Everton. They are a decent side but we shouldn't be that pessimistic.I think the pessimism is well founded. We struggled to beat Brighton at home and Watford play some good stuff. This will not be easy.
They are a physical side , Which team can deal with physical ness the best? Its us.I think the pessimism is well founded. We struggled to beat Brighton at home and Watford play some good stuff. This will not be easy.
We spent this much quid for this?A poor performance coupled with a defeat. Zero confidence in away games these days. Will be lucky to come away with a point.
Go on, call me a pessimist but that's my view. I will be delighted if we win but can't really see that happening. I welcome the prospective bashing
I believe we have a thread where there is a general consensus that we should not evaluate our performances based on the money spent. I don't remember when we actually played decent football away from home and came up with 3 points (CSKA I guess)We spent this much quid for this?
The problem is five other teams are all spending big also. Then the lesser teams are spending quite a bit more than the counterparts in other leagues. We are a victim of our own success, as in the dominance of United under Ferguson, has made it more competitive for us.We spent this much quid for this?
If you welcome it why hide half your post in white font?A poor performance coupled with a defeat. Zero confidence in away games these days. Will be lucky to come away with a point.

So far as I can tell, it would be the first time Mata would officially start for us in a 3 at the back formation. I went for Lingard instead.Would love us to match Watford and go with a 343.
De Gea
Lindelof Smalling Rojo
Valencia Pogba Matic Young

Freaking pesimist!! What a bundle of joy! If I had any more time, would give you proper bashing. 1-3!A poor performance coupled with a defeat. Zero confidence in away games these days. Will be lucky to come away with a point.

So watford play like barcelona that you expect them to beat us?I believe we have a thread where there is a general consensus that we should not evaluate our performances based on the money spent. Paul. Like the octopus.Phil "The Octopus" Merson
Oops.. Thats what I meantPaul. Like the octopus.
Yes and they too have reaped the rewards of playing in this league. They are spending more than an equivalent team in France or Germany or Spain. Troy deeney is on 90k a week. He would not get that anywhere else.We are talking about watford and our match here.
Hahahaha I love it!Crazy but I would like a scrappy, boring game in which we just manage to beat Watford 1-0 with a goal scored in the 89th minute through a deflection that comes off a deflection that comes off a deflection that came from the ball initially hitting the crossbar and then every journalist writes us off with the usual 'United in crisis', 'Mourinho for PSG', 'Martial and De Gea heading to Madrid in a stunning 350 million pounds deal', 'Shaw on collission course with United Manager', 'Dressing room crisis looming as United's fringe players get fed up with Mourinho', 'Pochetino beingg lined up to take over at Old Trafford, etc. Basically, our chances at the Emirates predicted to be non existent with the gunners becoming cock sure of taking us out and then....boom! We explode on Saturday.
