It's been a good weekend thus far.

De Gea is clearly the superior keeper over Henderson, today, and if we’re going to be honest it’s not even that close. Henderson is one for the future. But against this opponent, which shouldn‘t cause too many problems, sitting Dave down would give Hendo the experience he needs to gain. And who knows...he may quickly acquire the tools to allow us to seriously consider letting Dave go, although the number of clubs who would be willing to take on Dave’s salary is few.Depends on what one means by "superior keeper today"
I believe he is maybe more useful against some particular opponents like the shithousery teams. But when Dave is off form, then at that particular time Henderson is also the superior keeper. Dave has been very poor of late, there is no getting away from that, and in some matches he's cost us.
But I don't think Henderson is the answer to that ever more problematic position.
But knowing our luck you know how it's going to end. We will miss chance after chance and Rashford will run into defenders all the time by trying to take them all on his own and Lindelof will kick the ball which will ricochet off the arse of Maguire and a flat-footed DeGea and balloon it over a bewildered AWB into our own net with Fat Sam doing the hula in the technical area. It's been a good weekend thus far.

DDG needs replacing asap, I agree, but I'm not overly confident in Henderson being the man to replace him, even in the short-term. I mean he didn't exactly inspire confidence in his last outing for us, did he?Time for Henderson. Make the decision, Ole.
Against West Ham a few days ago? Yes, he was absolutely fine. Significantly better in the air, too.DDG needs replacing asap, I agree, but I'm not overly confident in Henderson being the man to replace him, even in the short-term. After his worst performance for us? Scott's been fantastic lately. I don't see a reason not to play McFred. If any of our midfielders get injured or need a rest before Pogba's return, then yes, play Donny. Matic is just an insurance policy at this point. This is the perfect game to start Donny again. Pogba is out due to injury so someone has to step in. Donny has to be the guy not Matic.
I was referring to his last league game when he made a howler early doors that cost us the game. He was decent enough against West Ham midweek, sure, but he was barely tested to be fair.Against West Ham a few days ago? Yes, he was absolutely fine. Significantly better in the air, too.
Whether he’s good enough in the long term is something we don’t yet know; we do know, however, that De Gea practically chucks the ball into the net every fortnight. What are we waiting for if not now?
They've conceded 54 goals in 23 matches. They've conceded at least 2 goals in every match since the turn of the year. It's a shame we don't have Pogba for a more creative midfield, but we should take them apart.Must win. No fecking about just get the job done, can’t afford any more slip ups with City pulling away and Leicester creeping up behind us.
Yeah draw would have been ideal because would have gave us a chance of keeping a little gap to both teamsIt's a must win game for us now Leicester has won.
It’s a must win regardless of any results , they’re second bottom and have conceded 24 more goals than even we haveIt's a must win game for us now Leicester has won.
Hopefully Pogba will be too far off after thatI think we will slap Albion and Newcastle around in our next two games.
It'll take more than that! But that'd be a great start.3 points please. Let us get 6 from next 2 games and top 4 will be safe.
I'm criticising us for performances that have already happened. Are you criticising us for a performance that hasn't happened yet?
Which game? We’ve only lost one league game in about three months and he didn’t play.I was referring to his last league game when he made a howler early doors that cost us the game. He was decent enough against West Ham midweek, sure, but he was barely tested to be fair.
I wouldn't be opposed to Henderson starting tomorrow, but that's more down to having zero faith in DDG than anything else. Where's Mr Reliable Romero these days? He always seemed to perform when called upon.
Probably referring to the Sheffield United game we won by the skin of our teeth, no thanks to Henderson.Which game? We’ve only lost one league game in about three months and he didn’t play.
A game in which he didn’t cost us anything in the end? Thank you for confirming the above misinformation.Probably referring to the Sheffield United game we won by the skin of our teeth, no thanks to Henderson.
2-1 West BromThey haven't won in their last five games, they are second from bottom and crap, conceded at east 2 goals in every one of their last 5 games. We should be winning this game resting key players easily.
Very true but we only have ourselves to blame for losing that momentum built up from Nov-Jan by dropping points to the scousers, Arsenal, Everton and that shocker against Sheff UtdNot gonna lie, EPL got much less exciting tonight. Hopefully we can secure top 4 and give more chances for those young players for the future.
Start Henderson.
Whether points were dropped or not is neither here nor there really. As I say, us winning that game was no thanks to Henderson who made two errors in an otherwise comfortable game.A game in which he didn’t cost us anything in the end? Thank you for confirming the above misinformation.
As far as goalkeeping howlers go, a keeper being a bit lackadaisical in his own box and getting caught out is about as good as it gets, provided it isn’t a Ben Foster-like affliction. I’m yet to see any evidence that suggests that this in endemic within his game.
So let’s do the adult thing and chalk it down to a (probably) nervous lad making a silly mistake against the team he once played at. I’ll read further into it if and when it reoccurs.
Sure, we were on top for a while so it was in our hands. However, it doesn't seem like such a good chance to win the EPL considering City current level, so it kind of feels better. I don't have that feeling that "we bottled it", we're just not there yet.Very true but we only have ourselves to blame for losing that momentum built up from Nov-Jan by dropping points to the scousers, Arsenal, Everton and that shocker against Sheff Utd
2-1 West Brom
I meant to say almost cost us the game, sorry.Which game? We’ve only lost one league game in about three months and he didn’t play.
Mmmmm 4-0Smash these 4-0.
Those who follow us?I'm criticising us for performances that have already happened.
The most recent example is the loss to the bottom of the league side - Sheffield Utd.
There are countless examples of us floundering against sides which are near the bottom of the league. Those who follow us will know this.
Every club sometimes gets a bad result against a bottom club, it happens all the time. Everybody who follow football know this.I'm criticising us for performances that have already happened.

Henderson has two EL games coming up and hence he´ll already be playing as much as De Gea the next couple of weeks. I think Ole will decide who´s going to be the nr. keeper after that.Time for Henderson. Make the decision, Ole.
Sheffield United is bottom and we lost at home to them. It’s a must win regardless of any results , they’re second bottom and have conceded 24 more goals than even we have
