I think he needs to be an impact sub. Use Martial to try and help us get some control with his better hold up play. Hopefully get ahead and then Højlund to come on to use his speed to exploit the space as they chase the game - and get that first league goal.Just want Hojlund to get a goal. I'll feel more confident going into games knowing he's broken the duck already.

Defensively as a team Man United played well. Restricted Liverpool to few if any clear cut chances. They lost by 5 goals twice in the last 3 matches or so.7 wins 1 draw 2 defeats in the last 10 games.

Most of their first team didn’t play against Liverpool so I doubt that will be a factor. Feels like they are being significantly underrated on this thread based on that result - a bit like Palace were after we beat their reserves.West Ham may well be up for it, but they will be tired and demoralised after getting smashed by a poor pool side.
Big win here and a good result v Villa and we are well on the road to recovery.
