I agree. Nuno has turned them into a proper side. It's going to be a very tough game and we still have to play the feckers away in the league as well which concerns me even more.
Shit I thought the league game was at home. Dunno if well beat them there twice in a month.

This is going to be very tough.

We need Pogba to dictate better than he did today, and Smalling is going to have to stick to Jimenez throughout.

have to be careful with this one. Rashers needs a rest alright. But i would play a strong team.

We'll bounce back, we will get the result. Confident of heading on to the final part of the season with a lot to play for.

Likely Dalot to start back as RB, and Bailly to start.

Rashford, Lindelof and Shaw will maybe get rested on the bench.

    Romero
    Dalot -- Bailly -- Smalling -- Young
    McTominay
    Herrera -- Pogba
    Pereira -- Lukaku -- Martial

Yes, this team for me all the way.

I hope we go back to playing the three in attack and if Rashford is no longer our number 9 first choice he needs to be dropped as his form is poor, looks knackered and he really suffers out wide.

    If all fit;

    ---------De Gea
    Young Smalling Lindelof Shaw
    ---Herrera Matic Pogba
    --Lingard Lukaku Martial

I think we may lose this one 1-2.

Glad it's a FA cup week. We have few more injuries, so it's good to play the cup game and then International break. By the time we play next league game, we should have full team available (hopefully no injuries in international break).

it is an FA cup game. I wouldnt give a shit if we lose to be honest, our squad isnt good enough to be playing in 3 competitons til the end. Premier League and CL is enough. Depending on the draw in the CL, we could progress to the semis. Top 4 is wide open and a fierce battle. Dont care about the FA cup at this point.
Would 2 extra games be that bad though?

    Team should be...

    ------------Romero------------
    Dalot--Smalling--Lindelof--Shaw
    -------------Matic-------------
    ----Herrera----------Pogba----
    Lingard------Lukaku------Martial

Subs: Grant, Bailly, Rojo, Fred, Andreas, Rashford, Greenwood

I think Ole will pick a strong team. Its the only thing we can realistically win. Will be an hard game and wouldnt surprise me if it went to a penalty shoot out

Out of all the lineups being thrown out there so far, this by far makes the most sense.

Bringing Herrera and Lingard back in after their injuries is not smart.
Bailly is not first choice. Should not start.
I think everyone is being harsh on Fred. He played well vs Arsenal. Pogba was more anonymous if I say so myself.
Matic has been excellent under Ole up until his injury. I think Arsenal was too soon for him. Should have played Scott. Scott should play against Wolves.

Really excited for this one, especially after the Arsenal disappointment. Hoping the lads are even more focused for this one.

I'd like to see Rashford get a bit of rest, but I expect he will start.

    - no 442 please
    - rest rashford can bring him on if we are chasing the game
    - play lingard and martial through middle as their movement will be key in breaking down this defence

    Romero
    Dalot-Lindelof-Smalling-Rojo
    Fred-Mctom-Pogba
    Lingard
    Lukaku - Martial

Put out the best team possible. Declare them all a bit injured afterwards and pull them out of the national teams. Not like any of them is fighting for a national team place. The 2 week recovery should get us fit and firing for the home stretch...

    A hard game.

Maybe we should take a leaf out of Liverpool's book and throw this in the same way they did, so we can prioritise getting fourth and going as far as possible in the CL.
    Sorry but no.
All for giving Rashford a break and giving the youngsters more minutes. We have the squad to play a team that can win this.

I expect a really tough game. Wolves will defend well and they have in-form attacking players, we might struggle to break them down very often. I wouldn't be surprised if we have less clear-cut chances/opportunities here than we did against Arsenal (where we failed to score away for the first time in yonks). It's going to be so hard to beat them here twice, as they're our second opponents after the international break as well. It's disappointing that Young is out of this one, as there's an international break that he could be left out of the England squad for to get his break, but as it is he's just going to get a game off which is OK considering he's started about five in a row or something, including four games in 10-11 days it seems. At least we get Dalot at RB for 90 minutes.

I actually think Rashford has been quite poor since we started playing with him and Lukaku as a two, particularly against PSG and Arsenal, but I still expect him to play. Lukaku has excelled at the same time, hopefully he can keep up his form with difficult games coming thick and fast through April. Matic looked slow and was probably brought back into the wrong game but you can understand why Ole did it. I think he'll start again, we'll be looking at a similar line-up to Arsenal.

    de Gea
    Dalot Smalling Lindelof Shaw
    Fred Matic Pogba
    Rashford Lukaku Martial

Something like this is what I expect. The front three will interchange a lot but I'd start them like that first, start quick and hopefully get an early goal so Wolves have to come out a bit more and leave us chances on the break. I think that's how we'll have to approach this game as Wolves are very good. I think we can nick it 1-2, but it's going to be so hard to beat them away twice in our next three games.

Isn't bringing players back after their injuries the norm?

They've been excellent against the top half clubs this year, this won't be easy at all. We need to treat this like a top 4 match.

We need an energetic midifeld to deal with Mourinho/Neves, give them time on the ball and we will suffer.

I'd personally like to see Herrera(if fit) Fred as a double pivot, and Pogba in the CAM role.

Now that Martial is back fit, I think we should go back to the 4-3-3 that worked so well before, with Rashford striker flanked by Martial / Lukaku.

I don't think Mourinho is match fit. I mean the last match he played was about two years ago and he played GK.

    Give them loads of respect.

We need to bounce back from the Arsenal loss and the FA Cup still represents our best chance of a first trophy under Ole. International break looming, so put out our best XI and give it our all.

    1-2 United.

It should not be by throwing them back into an important match like vs Arsenal or Wolves. Our MF of the previous matches were doing just fine.
Bringing important players back for important matches is even more the norm. And I don’t actually feel we played well against Arsenal, and PSG was a strange game so difficult to judge.

Are people seriously suggesting we should rest Rashford so he's fresh for the international friendlies?
No, he's not playing well and doesn't look fully fit, so play Martial and rest Rashford, we should pull him from the friendlies as well so him, Lingard and Ander are are all fully fit and fresh for the Watford game.
