We will play with reserves so i am not expecting much
We don't have any reserves ready to play. Greenwood, Pereira will start. Maybe Mata, but that is it. We should replace our defense, but Ole is probably never going to drop Maguire even if I think Jones would do better in this game.

Just want to come out this unscathed for the Europa in Feb.

I don't know what to say, it seems like a very disturbing January for us. We are going to be exposed to the brim unless we get one or two players in. Maddison or Grealish please.

I can see Utd going with Mata & shoehorning Jones into a midfield role or throwing in youth products like Garner & Levitt when they decide to give Matic & Fred a rest.

Personally I think that is a diabolical decision and just reeks of a club who do not have any clue whatsoever what they are doing, in other words a club run by a bunch of clowns.

Give DDG, Lindelof, Fred, James and Rashford a rest, they've played a lot lately. Maybe Mata on for Pereira at half time if he's shit.

So you think continuing to play Fred and Matic in every game (when they’re our only fit central midfielders) is a good idea knowing we have a cup semi final and crucial league games coming thick and fast in the next few weeks? If they both get injured/ burnt out that would be real managerial incompetence!

We're losing comfortably again. Nuno is a much better manager than Ole and has his number. We won't have a shot on target.

We should try to rotate a bit, but we have so few options.
I say Norwich is a good game to rest players since we should be able to win that game with a weaker side. Although no games are easy for us I guess.

We could just give up against Liverpool too which would be sad, but we are probably not going to win that one.

Bring some bloody players in fast would be what I would say. Although that is not going to happen with us. Woodward want to negociate a good deal, but it will be shit in the end anyway.

No they should definitely be rotated otherwise like you say there is a very strong possibility of them ending up injured or burnt out. I just don't want to see youth players thrown in when they clearly aren't ready all because Ole won't go and bang Woody's door down for money.

We have two injuries and it feels like a big crisis. Just goes to show how thin our squad really is at the moment.

The squad is most certainly thin. In the last year alone 7 players sold or loaned out that played under Jose and only three players brought in during the last two transfer windows. Can make that 9 now for the next month or so with the injuries to Pogba, McTominay and how likely is Woodward to sign any players this month? I bet he's not even looking at any players while he tells the media he has targets lined up and that should receive plenty "likes" on social media.

They have had a brilliant season so far. Although lack depth just like us. Better manager than us so they are clear favorites for this game even if they have worse players than us.

I haven't the foggiest how they're so high up the table, they're fecking shit. More solid defence I suppose. Budget Liverpool.

I am not so sure they have worse players than us.

They are better trained and drilled anyway.
    Comfortable win for them.

Please do not let this go to a replay! None of STHs want to have to deal with a midweek replay with 10 days notice to sort it!
Gonna have to tuck my tail between my legs and backtrack on welcoming the replay. We’ll still be abroad and will miss it!

Any cares? Players don't care,,owners don't care,, CEO doesn't care and as Fans we are getting too used to the mediocrity.

It's an FA Cup game that we didn't have the squad depth to play anyway and with McT and Pogba both out – it would be a miracle for us to win this game. We are certain to lose, unless Wolves decide they can also only spare their reserves.

    The team I would chose:

    --------------------------------------Romero------------------------------------
    Laird--------------Tuanzebe------------Bernard----------------Williams
    -----------------------Garner------------------Levitt-----------------------------
    ---------------------------------------Pereira---------------------------------------
    Gomes---------------------Greenwood--------------------------James

It's almost the same team he had with Astana, except Williams for Shaw, Pereira for Lingard, and James instead of Chong, because honestly Chong is in shit form and if we want any hope of winning James should play. This way you give a chance to reserves/youngsters and see if they can pull a miracle.

ST Greenwood: Set to start, putting him in the striker position as Martial should rest.

RW Young: All we need is a draw right?

LW James: Maybe he will produce from his favorite position.

AM Andreas: I like Andreas, if he started against Arsenal that could have made all the difference that game, as Lingard is just past it. It was correct to rest Andreas against Arsenal, but in retrospect Mata should have been the one starting.

CM Matic: He is what we got, so better hope he is up for it. There is still a good player in Matic, somewhere.

CM Lingard: Fred needs a rest, so im putting Lingard back in it, in a new role, maybe he will have a new dawn or something.

LB Williams: It wont be long now before he starts regular before Shaw.

    RB AWB: Sigh.

    CB Lindelof:

CB Bernard: Screw it, im starting Bernard. Can we please rest Maguire.

GK Romero: Has not let us down yet.

Early yet. Would be happy to see Chong, Garner or Gomes starting.

Matic? I bet he hasn't got out of bed in 2 days after playing 2 matches in a week.

Really tough game in such a packed schedule.

We barely have any rotational options that don't drop our level.

Matic has barely played all season and can he even start three games so close together?
    Gonna be a tough watch.

    Win without a replay please!

Confirmed that Williams and Greenwood will start. Should have both started against Arsenal. Tuanzebe, Bailly, Pogba, McTom, Forsu Mensa all unavailable.

    Likely team
    Romero
    Young Jones Maguire Williams
    Matic Fred Andreas
    Greenwood Martial Rashford

Think we will see two very different teams than normal. Both teams will think they have bigger priorities than the FA cup

Has to play the kids. Worst case, we lose and go out. We didn't have the squad to focus on 4 competitions in the first place and now barely have enough left to focus on one. Best case, youngsters show enough mettle and replace couple of non-performers in the first team.

Play full strength team in the two games after this one. But we CANNOT afford any further injuries.

No Garner or Levitt so we are a bit thin in midfield again and they should be at full strength

Garner definitely won’t start as Ole said he’ll play with the U23’s on Monday, but was Levitt mentioned? I think he was just ill so could well play tomorrow

    Red Card for Casemiro!
Moutinho and Neves vs Fred and Matic.
    Adama Traore against Luke Shaw.
Jimenez and Jota against Maguire and Lindelof.

They'll be raring at home, and we can hardly get a jog out of our left back when 2-0 down to Arsenal.
Unless Rashford/Martial have one of their magical games, we're in for a very painful watch.

If I see Lingard in the line up for this, i'm not even wasting my Saturday night on this crap.
I think we should play lingard for this one. It is a waste of time anyway and i don't we're anywhere close to Wolves at the moment. I rather rest a few players and give the youngsters some experience.

I honestly can't remember when I cared less about a United FA cup fixture. I don't think I ever have.
