  1. Manchester United vs Chelsea

Well that sucks. We were due a shit performance or two, and I reckon we've had that the last couple of games. I'm a big fan of the FA Cup still, so didn't want to see it happen in this game, but top 4 has to be the priority. If we had to have a game like this, better it's now than in our next...
  2. Man Utd player quiz

Well, I might have signed up six years ago, but I maybe made one or two posts and it wasn't until recently I came back. Everythingcan be misleading if you look at information without knowing more about it.
  3. Man Utd player quiz

Well, I did bite at that! Edit because now I see the grey text. I am sorry about the repost though and won't be in the least bit upset if the thread gets deleted. I'd also rather people not post their scores in the other thread to keep it all in one place. However, how many threads talk about...
  4. Man Utd player quiz

Bloody hell. I had a look as well. My bad. As you were.
  5. Man Utd player quiz

I posted this yesterday in the newbie section, but seems I was promoted overnight. Therefore, I thought I'd just drop it in here as well )My newbie access has been taken away, so I assume that means no one in here would have seen it already). You need to name all 128 players who made at least...
  6. PL clubs furlough non-playing staff | Liverpool, Spurs & Bournemouth U-turns

Weren’t some bonuses already paid before they were told not to? The banks also had to be told not to pay the dividends to owners as well. Otherwise they absolutely were going to be putting millions back into the already rich investors. Ministers are paid around 140k a year with the PM earning...
  7. Solskjaer's views on covid19 crisis

Most of the most vulnerable people don’t get the help they need. Everyone is so quick to jump on the comparatively small number of fraud cases to justify strict regimes for benefits that screw normal people over, while enough rich people cost a lot more in tax avoidance and evasion (that’s not...
  8. PL clubs furlough non-playing staff | Liverpool, Spurs & Bournemouth U-turns

Sorry, no bloody sympathy if that is the case. If you get 70k a week (I believe that's about average for a PL player) and you live cheque to cheque, you are an idiot, no two ways about it. Yes, you might have more expensive tastes but you have a lot of people around you to advise you and keep...
  9. PL clubs furlough non-playing staff | Liverpool, Spurs & Bournemouth U-turns

This issue is really around employees more than owners. Otherwise, do you extend it to other businesses as well? You can't furlough your lower level employees while still paying millions to your players, in the same way I wouldn't expect an airline to furlough check-in staff and then continue to...
  10. PL clubs furlough non-playing staff | Liverpool, Spurs & Bournemouth U-turns

Because they are multi-millionaires. If I were a player and saw that the club I played for were furloughing non-playing staff, I'd be volunteering to take a pay cut or making some my salary available to ensure those that work hard so I can lead a priviledged life have what they need and don't go...
  11. Idiotic Sales Post Fergie

Depay for me. I thought he was great, and when he turned it on he was superb to watch. He had a bit of strength and attitude about him that I really liked. I was a fan of Chicharito and Januzaj as well and didn’t want either to go. Nani also in that group. Evans Rafael, Blind not fussed either...
  12. Give me a left-field way of how you would finish the season

I genuinely believe we can just pick up in a years time, finish the season. All contracts extended accordingly, no transfer window opened. If players don’t want to extend the contract, they just can’t play until the next season. Scrap the 2020-21 campaign and have euros next year as well.
  13. RAWK goes into Meltdown 19/20 Edition

There are some real issues there that need to be looked at, but if CV doesn't get better soon, they'll miss the rest of the season and be in serious trouble either way.
  14. RAWK goes into Meltdown 19/20 Edition

Well, I guess two options; all contracts that would be affect to be extended to cover the period (which makes the most sense). All players would have been expected to fulfil contracts until the end of 2019-20 season (based on the dates), and this would be what's happening. If it's still...
  15. RAWK goes into Meltdown 19/20 Edition

I mentioned this in one of the other threads. This whole thing could run on for months. The sensible thing to do is just resume the season say next Jan, then have a slightly longer break before a rescheduled Euro 2021 followed by a slightly longer break and then into 2021-22 season, just...
