    3421 will almost always involve 3 CBs of which we have few skilled on the ball. It also means that your wingbacks must be able to create one minute and defend against Salah and Saka the next.

    There is not much benefit of playing a 3rd CB, not with our setup of players and logically Amorim has a poor win rate. Player quality is the main issue but Amorim's tactics is just wrong.

    They also have CBs comfortable on the ball. I don't mind 3 CBs per se, I think it is bad tactics if your CBs like ours are average on the ball. 3421 demands that your wingbacks are good at defending AND going forward. It also demands that your CBs can carry the ball and are above average...

    Two solid players for 50m each, then apply the 50% hit rate. Not great if Bruno can play for another 3 years. We are really bad at buying players.

    And last season it was the injuries... Nope, we are exactly as poor as the table shows. Poor players everywhere not least in CM and at WB, no striker, poor manager etc.

    Rashford, Sancho and Antony might generate 70-80m. Should be enough to cover Sesko or Gyökeres.

    Both at no 10, and then two solid CMs. Ideally.

    Cunha is a fine player but we are really well stocked with No 10s: Bruno, Mount, Amad, Zirkzee, Mainoo and now Cunha. We have glaring holes in CM, up front and WB.

    There is nothing in his 7 months since joining that suggests he is good fit for our club. I just don't see it. The players are of course crap and not signed by Amorim but he has done almost nothing to lift this place. The EL final was very fitting.

    Except for the little detail that there is not that many capable strikers out there. Delap might not be coming and he might not be what we need. I am not sure it is resolved in the coming weeks. I think we should go for Mateta.

    I voted for him actually, he is underrated but 28 so paying 50m for him is a gamble. But so is Gyökeres. 40m and I definately want Mateta over Delap.
