  1. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

Great point. I was talking to a friend at work and we actually did a Exel sheet for all the players and then headings for 'physical' 'mental' and 'ability' ... I think we had about (even then debated) 5-7 that could arguably make the cut across all 3. Tough times

  3. Manchester United vs Everton

Yes it feels like neither of them have played a successful pass all game
  4. Manchester United vs Everton

We're getting done here, but can also see us getting a counter goal if we can survive the first 15mins
  5. Manchester United vs Everton

So we're now playing a right foot CB at left CB and vice versa?
  6. At what point are we going to acknowledge that we're not an elite side anymore?

This is a great distinction, and the finer point being we need to focus on becoming an elite club again before worrying about being an elite team.
  7. Martial exit?

I get your logic, albeit I don't agree with keeping Martial in this instance, however- can you explain how you got $3m? Surely he's extension is worth more than $60k/week? And if it is, then my bad! And I may agree with your point after all!

  9. Qualify for the Europa League or exit Europe?

Normally I would say let's give Europa a red hot go, but I think longer term we'll benefit from more training and seeing if ETH can get the team playing how he wants. Then we'll know who we neee to keep v who we don't. The catch is we have a decent size squad, just lack depth in quality. Plus...
  10. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer criticises some players from time in charge at Old Trafford

I was trying to figure this out as well...could only have been DDG or Pogba I'd say....but I'm sure I've seen both captain the team when the regular captains weren't available
  11. Transfer Tweets - Manchester United - 2023/24

Right... I've just seen that too. That changes the picture. Agree though, midfield is still the concern. I feel we can cover LB adequately enough with Dalot + Fernadez.
  12. Joao Felix

Absolutely if it's a loan with option to buy at a reasonable price.
  13. Transfer Tweets - Manchester United - 2023/24

Ok, yeah fair enough. To your point Hamstrings can go in any given situation so really at this point of the season it's unlikely to be an over-training injury in isolation.
  14. Transfer Tweets - Manchester United - 2023/24

I thought Shaw was only out for the next 2 games (so what 3-4 weeks with the international break). And where did you info re Shaw? I couldn't find anything to indicate severity other than he would be missing the internationals too.
