Very disappointing from Matt James. Invisible for most of it and a couple of misplaced simple passes. Delfounso looked quite good for England, determination and skill wise. Alcantra impressed me with a couple of movements and passes. Lots of flair and creativity. Consistent and excellent...

I think it was Euro 2000...Scholes and Ince playing in the middle...The former bombing forward at every opportunity, the later left isolated, and England unable to retain possession. That was until a young Gerrard came on to play behind them two, and England started stringing a few passes...

I think the starting line-up was justified. Rooney was playing well and we had a 3-0 lead. But when he started limping the whole team seemed nervous. We should have brought on Macheda to keep the momentum going. But was that ever going to happen? After SAF's pre-match "theres no risk playing...

I don't post here much, but I have to say thanks a lot Tom! Great read. I also think most posters should reconsider their ratings, especially for the younger ones, considering SAF himself was hiding under seat. They did us very proud.

You should have seen the Algeria v Egypt post-match reactions. A former Egypt player defending his nation against claims of betraying the Palestinians, and reminding a former Algerian national team player of how they helped them to independence. Amr Zaki is simply trying to show some sort...

Not so sure about all the names being mentioned. I'd rather spend big on current experience rather than potential when it comes to a GK. Concentration levels and reassuring presence are much more important to us than how tall, how big, how vocal, etc. Screw that! check out the save at 0:36...
