  1. Alejandro Garnacho | 2023/24 Performances

Whether Rashford passes or not, it’s Garnacho’s responsibility to stay onside. That he didn’t is IMO purely down to his age and inexperience - he’s keen and he’s excited and that’s great, but he does need the discipline and ability to manage his game. And that will come. That’s not the kind of...
  2. Post match vs Aston Villa

I’m cautiously excited about Garnacho. Not making any predictions yet, but he’s the most exciting thing about our team right now. He’s the only player who seems to have the ability to pull something out of the bag that the oppo can’t predict or handle. I think he’s got all the potential to be...
  3. Post match vs Aston Villa

I had no problem with that. He went for the ball, got the ball and Rashford followed into it - it wasn’t dangerous or reckless or against the rules in any way. He did his job. I’d be very happy with our keeper if he made the same challenge.
  4. Post match vs Aston Villa

Best we played since I can’t even remember when. I didn’t even know these players had that performance in them - and that does change something. Doesn’t mean we’ll see it from them every week (or ever again even) but we know for sure now that they’re capable of it. So that’s the level we/they...
  5. Bruno Fernandes | 2022/23 Performances

Even Graeme fecking Souness described him as "likeable" on TV today, so you'd have to be a particularly brutal critic as a United fan to hate Bruno. He's not hated, he's been a great player for us. But he has a questionable attitude at times and needs to learn how to manage that. He certainly...
  6. Bruno Fernandes | 2022/23 Performances

There were definitely worse players than Bruno today. But his performance as a captain was so disappointing. As a United fan, you're watching this game and you're urging the team not to capitulate - to keep fighting for self-respect alone. Even at 3-0 down, you're thinking "just don't give up...
  7. Was this the best world cup ever?

Yep. I would never have thought, at half time, that it’d turn out to be the greatest final ever. But that’s exactly why it was.
  8. Lionel Messi is OFFICIALLY the Greatest Player of all Time (CONFIRMED OFFICIAL)

He’s the best player I’ve seen in my lifetime, alongside Maradona. I’m 51 years old, for perspective. Where he stands alongside the greats that I never had the chance to see at the time… I’m honestly not sure if I’m entitled to judge. I don’t doubt he’d be up there though.
  9. Ronaldo is a World Cup short of being better than Messi

Ronnie is going to have to work this out with his own ego. Football history is written in tournaments and confirmed by trophies. Legends exist within those pages. Messi has drawn a line under this particular rivalry. There’s only one way that this is going to remembered.
  10. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

Yep, and who does that remind you of? I wouldn’t suggest ETH as anywhere near the level of our greats yet, of course. I’m just comparing personalities. And in that capacity, he’s off to a pretty good start. I hope the club will continue to support him, as I’d be more than happy to give him a...
  11. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

Absolutely! To have the fans onside again, to have hope. That’s all we ever asked for, really. Watching football is becoming fun again.
  12. Nordic Ghost Yeti | Haaland at City

Ok, granted! But I mean, compared to us.. it's a pretty low bar!
