According to a good source on 5live tonight the deal is nowhere near as close as the media are saying. Sporting are asking c€80 million which is a long way from what Utd will pay. There has also been no discussion about personal terms which will take time. Unless Sporting are more realistic...

The rumours are £500k per week for Pogba to stay. Firstly he doesn't deserve that money, but secondly have we not learnt from Sanchez? While all clubs are to a certain extent open to player demands, that kind of deal sounds like Woodward refusing to accept his marquee signing hasn't delivered...

I agree you can't build a team around Pogba. He has the class but his attitude when the chips are down or hes not happy with the manager sucks and it drags down the rest of the team. I'd be happy with £100m plus if we do sell him.
