  1. Conor Gallagher | Everton make 40m + 5m bid?

I think Chelsea are going to have to decide between Gallagher and Gilmour. And given the way we play Gilmour seems the better fit. But seeing how Gallagher plays for Crystal Palace, maybe he can be an option for the front 3? Maybe as an understudy to Mount?
  2. Mason Mount

I can kind of understand the criticism, I'm a bit ashamed to admit it now, but during Lampard's first season I was firmly in the camp that didn't understand why Lamps insisted on playing Mount like his life depended on it, because I found Mount quite underwhelming. He has improved leaps and...
  3. Top 3 players on every position

Gk: Ter Stegen, Courtois, Ederson Right back; Walker, James, Carvajal Left back: Robertson, T. Hernandez, F. Mendy Central defenders: Van Dijk, Marquinhos, Dias Defensive midfielders: Kimmich, Kante, Casemiro Central midfielders: De Bruyne, De Jong, Goretzka Wingers/inside forwards (who knows...
  4. Chelsea appoint Thomas Tuchel

He was actually pretty good under Sarri too. That's why he was touted as the one to fix our leaky defense at the start of Lampards reign (he missed the first 1 or 2 months through injury). It was only last season that he was playing badly, but so were almost all of our defenders, so it was...
  5. Kylian Mbappe | PSG

These are the players fans love football for. Spectacular performance!
  6. Thiago Silva | Chelsea Player (leaving)

He's been brilliant. He's 36 and not the most physical of defenders, so I wasn't entirely sure how he would do moving to the PL at that age. But apart from his first game he's hardly put a foot wrong. His positioning and anticipation are world class and his composure on the ball is a huge plus...
  7. Reece James

I didn't think he would take over from Azpi that soon, but boy he's been brilliant all season. That combination of physicality and technique is just beautiful.
  8. Chelsea 2018/19 - 3rd and European Champions. Sarri, not sorry

They didn't. They won 7, drew 2 and lost 2 in their first eleven games. Decent start but nothing special.
  9. Chelsea 2018/19 - 3rd and European Champions. Sarri, not sorry

We are pretty far away from playing like Sarri's Napoli side. We are keeping the ball well, but that's pretty much it. Offensively we haven't been overly threatening apart from that Arsenal game when their defense was as open as a barn door, and defensively we are looking vulnerable whenever...
  10. Chelsea 2016/17 - Very Content

Yeah I noticed that too. Last real injury crisis I can remember was in autumn/winter of 2010/11. Apart from that, we've had the odd player missing, but very rarely more than 2 or 3 at the time, which compared to other teams is very little. Either the players we have are just not very injury...
  11. Chelsea 2016/17 - Very Content

I said nothing about passing out of defence, obviously Luiz and Terry do that more often than Cesc. But the initial argument was about their passing in general, more accurately their long passing and I don't agree with you there. To back up my claims I've looked up some stats and they tell you...
  12. Chelsea 2016/17 - Very Content

I still prefer Fabregas' long passing over Luiz' because it's more accurate. Luiz will give you a few great passes almost every game, but he also gets it wrong a few times every game. Fabregas' diagonals reach their intended target more often. Terry plays good, accurate diagonals with both feet...
