Spewing rubbish? Read this very thread before replying.
No, I don't think I need to read over a hundred page's worth of content to tell when you have made one, individually poor post.

The price of any player or any commodity for that matter depends on two things : the seller and his willingness to sell and the buyer and his willingness to buy.
You cant compare Darmian to Juve and Lindelof to United.

Darmian is an average player who is out of favour at the richest club in the world and is being sold to Juve who are known penny pinchers, to a league which is not as wealthy as the PL or La Liga.
If he was being sold to another PL team, we would have gotten more.

Lindelof was a very talented 22 year old ball playing CB who played for the Champions of Portugal and he was being sold to the richest club in the world, to the richest league in the world. Of course the price was going to be higher.

Its like bargaining with a guy who sells stuff on the streets.
You get out of an Audi wearing super expensive clothes and holding an IPhone X in your hand, of course he's gonna double the price. Whereas if you look worse than the guy who is selling, he'll be like whatever man, just give me what you have.

 so you're going to say I'm spewing rubbish without checking? Quality. I'll give you a hint. Page 104. People saying 12m isn't enough.

So yeah you transfer window fanboys will complain about anything as long as you can get a dig in about United.

And if you go to the Darmian thread you'll find people saying around £12m is acceptable.

Darmian to Juventus is basically done. Darmian wants the move, United want the move, Juventus want the move.

This is Juventus haggling over a few million like they usually do.
It's Darmian. Juventus will sign him at the price they want, or they'll look elsewhere

The entire reasons for their interest are his nationality and price. They're not gonna make a better offer anytime soon

So Juventus are haggling over the price like I said. We'll sell him for the price they want because he's not wanted at the club.

Exactly, we are the richest club in the world and doesn’t need to sell our players for nothing. Still, we are doing it every single time. It’s starting to get ridicoulus now. It should be all the other clubs who are desperate to flog of their players on the cheap, not us since we got the money.

Yeah. Your problem right now is if juventus go after someone else and get quoted a price they like, you'll be stuck with Darmian

And they'd sooner spend €40-50m for Florenzi than €20m for Darmian

Christ. You people will complain about anything. If we sell him for 12m there will be complaints we give them away for nothing. Sell at 20m and there's complaints we're pricing him out.

Does this stuff actually bother you? Because if it does you should take up another hobby.
Exactly. Why like something that does nothing but enrage you?

I think 12m euros is a good price for Darmian, but there's a lot going on behind the scenes that could cause us to try to want more.

I just want the world cup to start so this transfer stuff is over for a few weeks :D

They're not what I meant, we may be the richest but we don't have a bottomless pit of money.
If happy we are trying to sell our players for as much as possible but because we are rich, the other clubs won't pay us much & ask for more when we try to buy one of their players

This. Also, no hurry: United will bite Marotta's hand in mid August for less than that and could end with a loan offer instead

The issue with Darmian is, if Juve do walk away, we're stuck with him for yet another year. He'll play twice, and we'll sell him next summer for about 8million.

He is worth around 20m for me, but the fact is he's an unwanted player who has had a shite tenure at United and only Juve seem interested in him.

Our (United's) window closes on 9th August this year, so we'll be biting his hand off even sooner than that!

He’s an Italy international, he may have been awful for us but if Juve are interested I’m sure there are other Serie A teams that would like to take him as well...that’s like saying if Utd are interested in player nobody else in PL is!
This move is being driven by the Darmian camp so Utd just need to hold firm, there are still 2 months till the end of transfer window.

We'll see him to Everton for 15m then.
Why would only Juve be interested and nobody else? That's a massive logical leap

We will gladly sell him for peanuts for another Italian club rather than selling him for that price to them.

Three things could be happening:

1. City throw Uniteds name into the mix to make it look like they beat them to a transfer.
2. Papers add Uniteds name for clicks (most likely)
3. United have moved their interest to Jorginho because of the over priced Savic.

It's not that juve are the only club interested, it's that nobody is going to pay €20m for him.

On the other hand, United don't seem particularly fussed about selling either. He's cheap enough that you'd have no problem keeping him it seems

4. Napoli say United is interested to put some pressure on City.

60 Million is a fair price for Jorginho and City can easily afford it so good for them.

If Juventus read this thread you could see why they only want to pay €12m for Darmian
"we need to rid of our deadwood players" maybe show the players some respect
and we might get what we really want for them

I guess that the transfer market will soon go largely on hold until after the World Cup, with players, officials and managers, etc, heading to Russia

I think a lot of clubs want to hold onto players until after the World Cup as club will then be more desperate, especially as our window is shutting early, if player has a good World Cup there will be more clubs interested and it will drive prices up.

True. Most of the players will be on holidays for a couple of weeks after it finishes, too, which means we'll only have about one week to conclude a deal for anyone featuring at this summer's World Cup. That is probably why we've moved so quickly to sort the Fred deal - he may well be the only World Cup player we're in for this summer.

I think 20m is just a negotiation position and this may be a bit irrational on my part, but I'm sick of seeing us getting quoted ridiculous prices for every player we seem to enquire for in Italy.
I'd bump it up a little bit out of spite!

If we gave him away for €12m many people on here would be satisfied with the transaction. You're just spewing rubbish at this point.
I, for one, would be disappointed. I'm happy the club is taking a stance on not selling players for low prices and if it means the negotiations take more time or we see clubs walk away then it's fine with me. Remember how clubs like Inter held us ransom during the Perisic discussions? Or even how much Juve charged us for Pogba? Even if we do not need Darmian, he still is an international player and we should charge the right amount.

Why should Juve being penny pinchers lead us to reduce our price for Darmian? We're defining what we are willing to sell him for. If they come for Pogba tomorrow, will you sell him for 20Mn since Juve are penny pinchers and the league is poor? And this is the same Juve which paid like 80Mn for Higuain. So it's really not like they're poor even.

As far as the Audi analogy goes, if we're stupid enough to not notice this happening and negotiate accordingly, we're the fools. And do you really think clubs will have a stance saying I will sell X to a poor club for 10Mn but if Man Utd want him, the price is 50Mn?

Nah, City clearly has an agreement with him and this is just Napoli using our name to get the best price for him.

United have become something similar to a monster that mommies scare their children with.
Like Mommies say 'Naughty boys get punished by the monster so you better go to bed before the monster comes' is now being used by the selling Clubs as 'If you try to low ball us, the big, rich Monster of Manchester will punish you. So you better up your bid now or the Manchester Monster will soon enter the race/show interest™ !'
