Southamptons midfield three have been absolutely brilliant, and the forwards are pressing well, but they're definitely missing a bit of quality up front.

It's a huge ass cliche .. but that's the sign of a very good side. Have the individuals on the pitch where even if it isn't working collectively, someone like Mane can just pick it up and score a fantastic goal.
They weren't particularly great at the start of last season either, but they kept on getting wins and eventually the performances started going with the results.

LVG's eye for young talent was actually very very good. It's just a shame his tactical approach hadn't evolved with the times, or he would have been very good for us.
