Well lots of companies have already started shifting manufacturing to Taiwan to avoid the trade war tariffs, but that could pose a problem in itself given the relations between Taiwan and China and if China decides to take it back....

The Fed is a separate entity from the US Government. I don't think it would be an enemy of America or Americans seeing as it's primary interest is the currency of the United States and if it fecks that up it's a dead duck. They may not always be aligned to the government's wishes but enemy is a strong word and the current administration is abnormal.
I still just can't comprehend the man hasn't made so many enemies inside this country yet that there isn't a mass movement to make sure he doesn't get re-elected etc. The only explanation I can think of is that a lot of the foreign interests he does not attack have a much larger say in what he is "permitted" to do. I. E. The continuous attacking of US car manufacturers over many things including Ford s refusal to not comply with California s fuel efficiency and emission standards. I guess Saudi told Donnie to do whatever it takes to make sure we continue to be dependent on oil as long as they can possibly stretch it?

Another thing is I believe the possibility of a deal with China has been priced it. People have been thinking a deal will happen eventually. Only recently has shit hit the fan that this trade war has no end in sight.
I don't think friendship is really the problem. Investors depend on the integrity and independence of the Federal Reserve. Trump is shitting all over that.

Good Heavens. I do not think even Putin can order Russian companies not to do business with the USA. This man is delusional and is the Congress and Senate sure that he has not lost his mind. The downside is I suppose most people do not want Pence as the President.
