Ole is annoying me and needs to be more ruthless.

At OT against teams like Palace you need a number 10 with a creative football brain. The options we have are;

1) Mata
2) Pogba (and bring in Fred/Matic to partner Mctominay)
3) Gomes

A useful as Lingard is at times he's not creative enough to break down a dug in team. The player in that area, in that kind of game, will get alot of the ball and will have time to pick a pass. Lingard's strength is workrate and movement so asking him to produce in his weakest area is unfair.

Not sure what's going on in Ole's head but he needs to wise up with this. It's a simple thing we should be getting right with team selection and tactics in these types of games. You can't just set up the same in every match and expect to deliver. The PL isn't what it was many years ago and every team can play some kind of football on the counter.

Come on Ole! The answers are bloody obvious that's why it's so annoying.

Chelsea had 23 shots with 8 on target, we had 22 shots but only 3 on target. In terms of creating chances I don't think we were far behind Chelsea, it was the quality of chances created - i.e. final pass; and the quality of the attackers in converting these chances.

The technical level of the side is poor. Simple as. None of the other top six sides give the ball away while in possession as much as we do.
