Very good game again from him. Good finish, had a very good finish for the offside goal and a great block to deny him in the 2nd.
Pretty much, Rashford and Martial were the only two in attack that seemed to be not drunk. Reminded me a bit of the games when our poor midfield could not create anything, and these two would have to basically do it all themselves to get us anything.

Also, his fitness looks great, was sprinting late into the game even though he played the full game against Villa.

Just came here to say I thought he had his best game since the restart. Really dangerous and was incredibly unlucky not to get a second goal from that block in the second half. Just about back to his best now I feel.

Cost us the game. Cant do the basic things right. Gives away the ball with no pressure and also under pressure. Hides from luke shaw when he needs an outlet to pass too. Honestly sick of this.
Give up football mate if that's how you saw it. Other than Martial who was clearly MOTM, Rashford was our next best player on the night.

The agendas on here are an absolute joke. Pogba, Bruno, Greenwood, Matic etc were all off it last night.

Believe that he had a very good game, love the interlink between him and Martial, that is when they decide not to take a shot for themselves, but he really MUST burry that chance he had. He went in it too nonchalantly, gotta be sharp and clinical in those situations.

Few negative I want to bring on here

I'm so fed up with him not tracking back their runs, leaving a massive wide gap for them to exploit, one of the lazy players on pitches when he's not on ball, Martial worked harder more than him. He wasn't like that last few years ago

Use left foot more FFS, they can defend against his right-footed but he needs to have more confidence in his left foot as it wasn't difficult to finish chance like that, he could pass the ball to the net with left foot easy. I hope he is working on this, this is a major flaw of his game that he needs to iron out

Wtf is he doing in pressing and always ball-watching when Shaw was trying to defend, he didn't try to press them so hard, just half-arsed when doing this. There were moments when Martial ad Bruno was pressing so hard, Rashford didn't join them, he wasn't marking player tightly on the flank to cut passing lane off.

However, his game on the ball is very good.

He scored with his left foot yesterday btw

No where near back to his pre back injury form but definitely getting there. Good to see him get a goal from open play. One of the few positives from last night

His work-rate and overall performance yesterday can't be criticized but missing that attempt from 6 yards out sits heavy with me. A proper finisher would have either lifted the shot or attempted a sidefoot across the keeper, Marcus chooses power and fires into the keeper.

Missing these chances are what are costing use games, he needs to be more clinical.

Yes, he could have a hat trick if he scored the other two chances on his left foot, defenders blocked his right foot twice before goalkeepers make saves. It was very predictable that he'd always shoot with his right-footed, I lost count of how many time he was blocked from shooting with right-footed when he get on 1v1 this season

I thought it was his best game after the restart which looks promising. Actually I think our front 3 all still look sharp which I’m hoping will see us through these final games.

Not sure if Miguel Delaney just made it up, if not then it's good to see him so highly rated.

Paris Saint-Germain have had an awful lot of time to plan for next season, but manager Thomas Tuchel has been absolutely unwavering on one view. There’s been no second-guessing himself, or mulling it over.

The German sees Marcus Rashford as a top target. Tuchel has been even more emphatic when discussing it with key figures around the club. He thinks England “don’t realise how good a player Rashford actually is”.

He sees Rashford as “the perfect model of the modern dynamic attacking player”, who you can see fitting into most elite teams.

He’s loved at United – but also by Tuchel.

Are you talking about the chance he had in the 2nd half when he passed to Martial then received the ball back from Martial? He actually didn't hit the keeper, the defender got back jus in time to block the shot...

Looked back to his best against Norwich. It's taken a few matches to get his fitness and find his confidence, but when he's in that mood he's very hard to stop. Lovely finish with his left foot too!

My only gripe is sometimes he cheats and lets the RB attack without following him. A few times Shaw got caught 2v1 and Walker-Peters put in a cross shot that was begging to be tapped in. I know he wants to stay up to be a counter attacking option but it'll cost us eventually at one point.

Yes I've noticed this numerous times since the restart

I wonder if this is a tactical instruction as I can't see how Ole and his team couldn't see this.

I also noticed this.
Maybe after injury they don't want to put too much workload on him.

Same with Greenwood too. Looks like tactical decision for quick counters, where it's easy to hurt the defense from more attacking starting position. Few times he drops deep to help defense, few times he stays in attack, same with Greenwood.

Greenwood always tracks back. I didn't notice this with him.

Its kinda funny that at 22 he is playing like a veteran yet it wasnt too long ago that he would push the ball as far as possible, put his head down and run out of bounds haha

Been quite an impressive campaign from him all things considered with the time he's missed with injury. Fans would be on full on muppet mode if he was putting up similar numbers in a different league or on another PL side and we were linked to him.

Ole's positive role in the development of MMA can't be overstated
