Please please Timbo, have a great performance.

Feels like a new player. Excited and nervous about this one.

A good performance from him here could rescue his United career.
I'm interested in your interpretation of rescuing his United career. One good performance after several years here won't do much.

But yes, a nice little window has opened for him to show us and Ole whether he is worth keeping any longer. If he keeps his composure and positioning at a good level, I think it can work out pretty well.

Fingers crossed for him!

No he wasn’t, virtually all Crystal Palace fans considered him decent, some good games and some bad. AWB just came through and was better.
My Palace mate reckons mediocre at best right back and disasterous centre back when they played a back 5. One final squeeze, I'm ready for some juice, long time cumming. Then we can watch the match. TFM!

When was the last time he played?

Hopefully he will step up today.

Really worried about this. Hope I’m proven wrong.

Considering it was his first game for us in 3 years and he was playing out of position I thought he was fine. Serviceable at the very least.

Didn't think he was as bad as the match thread comments suggest. Looked a step behind like any other player lacking match fitness, such as McT

Absolutely. Was getting loads of grief in the match thread but I thought he did alright. We missed Shaw's overlaps as an outlet but I don't think it cost us.

He was a safe pair of legs and stuck to the basics. That's the best you can expect from 3rd choice at left back to be fair. Him starting must mean Dalot has his bags packed surely.

Clean sheet and a win. Can't fault him then, especially given how little he's played in the last few months. Good job, Tim.

For a player that I don't even remember what his last match was and isn't even a full back, he did pretty well imo. Couldn't have asked for more.

Decent first game back, no drama, happy for the boy and he'll be buzzing after that.

All things considered he did well, better than AWB today at least

He did well, diligent defensively and willing to put his foot in which is why he got the nod ahead of Dalot. Hopefully his injury problems are behind him and he’s able to feature more.

He had the less threatening assignment in Townsend but did well today, tidy in possession and did his job in defense. Couldn't expect much going forward as he was essentially playing as a third center back and not his favorable side to contribute in attack.

My MOTM! Looked super nervous in the first 5-10 minutes, which is a real shame because he looked certain to feature a lot more for United and I never expected him to be introduced into the squad as a senior like this.

Yeah he just kind of.. existed?

Didn't massively impact the game negatively or positively. Kind of the most I was expecting tbh!

Did decently considering how long it’s been since he’s played for us, can’t complain.

He did everything right. Few more games like this and we have backup for AWB where TFM is more natural then on the left.
So pleased about him. I predicted good career for him. He can still make it

He did his job defensively and tried to participate offensively. Overall good game from our very own Timbo! Great to see him back.

A fine job from him. We got the clean sheet and scored both goals down his side too.
Not having a good left foot was a problem though at times.
