I actually respect Dortmund here. Pay us 120 Mill before training camp or we wont sell. Training camp starts and they say hes here for the season.

Ball was always in our court seemingly.
I also respect our clubs decision not to bend to an artificial deadline when there is two months left of the transfer window. A lot can still happen.

I’ve still no doubt. We’re so early in the window. Dortmund being proper cringeworthy and embarrassing on twitter is their specialty.
Completely agree. It’s just games, Dortmund want €120m, we want to pay less. The ball is in our court and we’ll have to work to get the deal done. If this was dead in the water, we’d have briefed something amongst those lines. We briefed on Erikson and Dybala previously.

Everyone knows he’s Ole’s first choice and our main target, we’ll get him. Regardless of what Zurg says. This will happen.

Why do people think he'll bother to put a transfer request in?

The smart move would have been not to sign a new deal, but time and time again players will just take the immediate easy money, and not give a second thought to down the line. They'll just presume a club will pony up the money for them.

Agree, it's all a bit strange. United know the price Dortmund want so they should pay up or shut up. It's not like 120m is a bad price for Sancho either, as much as I think he should not be United's main priority. But I guess when a generational talent such as him becomes available you have to go for it and he would undoubtedly improve the team significantly.

Andrei Kanchelskis made me fall in love with Unite
I'm of the opinion that Dortmund are being ridiculous with their demands. Honestly, JS is by far the best option for a right winger/forward that we desperately need but when I think of players like Van De Beek being available for around 40m, I can't help but think we might be better off pursuing a few deals like that. While it might not solve our problems in that position, we could greatly improve our overall squad depth with a few quality signings.

I would still love us to sign JS, but don't blame Utd if we walk away.

I'd be interested to know how much German he's picked up in his time there. I mean better than Bale's Spanish? Wouldn't be hard I know, do you he ever get past 'si'? I don't know if Beckham's was much better although he was certainly better than chimp face.

For what its worth, I have every belief they will sell if we meet the price, but with 3 years left on the deal and the player not yet pushing for a move, they probably should feel confident.

I am a big time Muppet but I have to say this transfer ain't happening. It's very clear for anyone who looks at it logically based on everything that has come out in the press and the way Sancho and the Two clubs have behaved.

We never seemed serious about it or if we did we looked terribly incompetent on how we went about it. Could all just be a ploy from the club to say "see we tried but BVB where unreasonable "

In addition, Sancho looked a player that is not so fussed about the transfer and I firmly believe personal wages and agent fees are part of the problem and when there are such bottlenecks, the player is not fussed.

The silver lining in all of these is that Greenwood gets more games.

All thosebthinking that if it fails we might strengthen other parts of the team, don't get your hopes up, we don't seem like a club too keen on strengthening, the Covid pandemic a perfect excuse.

In many ways, I feel the club have got their man, Ole. Someone who won't cause any trouble if he isn't backed.

In as much as we continue to look inefficient and mediocre in how we do business, we will remain a club that borders around been good and mediocre.

My heart is now weak and feeble and cannot withstand another heartbreak.
This is dead in the water just like Kermit!

Why do they have such a shit Twitter handle?
It's their English language account, they started it 1 or 2 years ago. I think it's cool this way, better than BVB_en or something like that

That'd be some multi-layered banter if that's what he had in mind

That actually is Memphis's signature celebration.

All reminds me of the cheeky teaser ad Adidas dropped during the summer of the Pogba saga when he was still at Juve where he was reading a newspaper gossip page saying not to listen to the 'blah blah blah'

He's only 20 years old. Looking at it objectively, the smart move is for him to spend a bit more time at Dortmund in the Bundesliga where there's less pressure and move to United in a year or two. Even if he were to see out the remainder of his contract at Dortmund he wouldn't even have entered his prime yet.

Once United start informing the media we’ve pulled the plug, I’ll believe it’s off. The fact we haven’t done so increases my confidence. We were very quick to call off Griezmann & Dybala.

Can someone explain how chipping the ball into the net and paying homage to his mate by using his celebration means the deal is dead and how does Dortmund posting that take "shots" atUnited?

There's only one United!

Looking at it objectively he should come to United now as we have a long history of nurturing young talent.
It's not how old but how good you are.

The issue is he wants to come back to England now. Not in a few years.

I am curious, why do you want to know?
Pretty sure it doesn't help the transfer.

Ignore button works
Annoyingly though you still get a notification saying there is 40 New tweets. Then you click on it and there is like 5. Not sure if ignoring him and seeing the notifications and thinking something good has happened is worse than just reading about billy bollox signing for Duck and Anchor FC.

The higher up the talent tree you get though, the more the price seems to rise exponentially.

If we don't pay now I believe we'll regret it and his valuation will go up in the future. Either we'll be paying that higher fee or more likely another club will get him.

I don't know just for some reason it interests me because footballers are generally regarded as so hopelessly thick but even if Jadon knew how to order a plum flan, for example, I'd be suitably impressed.

Enough to put in a transfer request to move along the situation though?
I think he might do. We'll have to see!

The briefings tonight from Romano and Falk are adamant he would "love to play for United" and his deal with the club is agreed.

I don't see both parties going to the trouble to let this die without a fight so early in the window. Also quite telling Sanchos camp and the player himself has said nothing at this stage.

After the Sanchez fiasco, I don't see United entering into any stupid deals like that again. At least while Ole is here. He doesn't seem like someone who enjoys spending stupid money anyway. It is not clever to pay 120 million on potential because that is what Sancho is. Anyone thinking he is a finished article is not being honest with themselves. United must not be rinsed, if I was Woodward, I would pull out and in January pay the release clause for Haaland. 1 year after that bid for Sancho.

He actually looks more comfortable and relaxed about the situation than I would have hoped him to be. :(

Certainly doesn't look like someone whos about to agitate or request a transfer.
He'll be happy either way.
