Decision to bench Shaw and captain Gundogan paid off 
Stop being Captain Hindsight people. None of us predicted that United would score, United would win or Shaw of all people would score. Benching him was not a bad call.

Well I thought starting Shaw might be more logical than Bruno given how many 0-0 we have had in big games. Although you have Bruno for the pens I guess and higher ceiling in general.
Kane with 2 assists and a goal by 52mins...

Yep, there's stupid decisions, then there's rational ones.
Bearing in mind Shaw has scored about 2 goals in 10 years, we as a team have scored about 1 goal in the big games this season, City being on a 15 game winning run in the league and barely conceding a goal and most of us having 2 City defenders and another strong defensive choice.... it was hardly a bad call. Just one of those 2-3 times a year of bad luck.
Now captaining Gundo over Kane, now that seems a lot more questionable a call.
I was so close bringing Bale but went Auba. Think I'm doing Salah to Bale.

Actually I fully thought Shaw had the potential to be involved, although I was expecting it to be an assist. That’s why I had him on! Had a full bench of potential starters as well, having just wildcarded for bench boost before, so it wasn’t a forced hand.
Didn’t think there was much chance of a clean sheet though, so awb resides on the bench with 6.
Of course Kane gets 16 points already the week he isn't even my captain, yet does barely anything last week when he was triple captain. Useless!!

I was worrying about a guy about 31 points behind me, who'd got a Martinez 7, and had Robertson at home to Fulham and then Lingardinho too. Had visions of my 31 being eaten in those 3 players.

I hope they bench KDB, main league rival has him as captain as he's trying to get some differential vs my lead
I hope they bench these guys for various reasons. Sterling as cap for a major player in my league is very dangerous. So I'd love it if that danger was removed.

Not looking forward to tomorrow. I‘m probably quite a rare manager with no players playing tomorrow. Somehow just need to avoid the big damage to let my three friendly doublers do the work later on in the week.

A guy on my league is on 89 points now. He used BB with Shaw, Struijk and Raphinha on his bench and I had a laugh about it. Not laughing anymore.
I still managed to catch up 15 points on the leader, though the second place got close to him now (the 89 point guy). Now I should be about 70-80 points behind both. With 11 games to go and much higher squad value that’s not impossible to catch.

I am moving on from Cancelo for next week, want KDB in. I have to start putting some differentials in as season is running out. Dias, Gundogan and KDB should be good. I don’t care about budget as my team value is £108.0m and there’s not that much to spend it on when Salah is not an option. Even with stacked defense, two goalkeepers, Kane up front I still have £4.4m in the bank
Bale may be a great option. He usually continues his good runs of form for 6-8 weeks before getting injured. This may be the time.
I think Neto and Coady will be good for Wolves nice run between 31 and 34. May do Cresswell to Coady but have no idea which midfielder I could sacrifice for Neto.

Ahh of course! There's always those "feck sake, I had Kane Captain, and also had Shaw and Bruno in the team but left Son on the bench... I really need to get better at this game" and my favourite "feck this I'm 95pts after 6 playing, such bullshit"
