What I don't understand is why are the players still defending him? It's clear he is out of his depth and the most incompetent manager ever to exist in European football. PaddyPower has already paid out on him being the next manager to be get sacked so hopefully there is some truth to that. Surely he has to go after this.

They will still do nothing. 100% he will manage the team against Chelsea and likely until the end of season. I’ve stopped hoping.
The club sacked Mourinho midway through a season when it looked like we could miss out on CL.If this form continues,Ole will be gone before the end of the year…

Dig up stupid!
I wanted so badly for him to succeed, I'm really sad but it's such a mess

I can't see how he survives this one, his head is almost the last option left to shock a reaction out of the players

We're shambolic right now

Again people calling for him to resign, why the feck should he? If the people above him are thick enough to keep him employed he has every right to milk the situation. He'll never be in this position again.
Because he used buzzwords and sentiment to squirm into a job he was never good enough for.

Be got the fans on his side and gets cut more slack than any manager before him.

He leveraged his position as a player to the detriment of United

I've followed United since way before we went down to the second division, & for some time now I have felt lower about United than I did back then. No club in Europe would have kept Ole on even a year ago, let alone after the loss to Liverpool, then City. We have one of the worse run clubs in Europe. It's not all Ole's fault, but he should have quit a long time ago, & I think a lot less of him for not doing so.

I think Jose was sacked more because of his off the field antics rather than the results. I hope I am wrong of course.

That's fine. And subsequently, he should be treated the same way as Moyes, LvG and Mourinho.

We scored FOURTY NINE league goals in a season under Van Gaal. We signed Depay, Di Maria and Falcao, with Rooney and RVP already in the squad and scored FOURTY NINE league goals.
Van Gaal is ten times the manager Ole will ever be. He might be past it. But I don't think this needs any further discussion. You are obviously talking out of your arse.

He looks so clueless, it's unbelievable. Get out of the club now please
Pretty arrogant of Ole, and a sign of his fake nice guy persona, that he kept mentioning improving in the second half but was too stubborn to mention VDB and the fact that VDB was down to the improvement.

Genuinely unthinkable he survives this. I expected us to lose, but to get thrashed 4-1 to fecking Watford is an unbelievable embarrassment.
You would think so. But you'd have thought being battered by Liverpool soon after the Leicester smashfest would have done it.
Or the even more uncomfortable City game.
So it still doesn't feel as certain as we'd think.

Sheesh. He's completely finished isn't he. No ideas, starting to run out of excuses now too.

It's really sad to see. I don't want to hate the man, I just want him to accept he's done what he can and move on.

He's even realised he shouldn't be smiling now too - obviously the criticism is sinking in.

One of the worst managers in modern football. Absolutely stealing a living at a club he supposedly cares about. Making excuses shamelessly week after week, never once having the moral gumption to talk about his own abilities critically. And people on here are still batting for him.

Really bloody weird post match interview.

Players not in the right frame of mind?!? Seriously, that’s what he’s going with?

There is no challenge for top 4 as far as I can see. Plan is to lose to Villarreal, then Chelsea and then get a new manager in when the season is basically over.
it’s great logic

We couldn't win a trophy under Ole so factually he is worse in the history books

Who is worse? Past Fergie he quite obviously is the worst manager we've had?
The football under LVG and Moyes was every bit as bad.

You cnuts have short memories.

I've never seen such a fecking dross load of shite as I did under Van Gaal.

Jesus.

Why are we even having a shit off? Ole should have gone some time ago. We have had a shower of absolute mediocrity since Fergie left.

Who is that on?
