Never in doubt, and the cancellation was always going to come from the Fury side.

Words can’t describe how much I detest this cnut….its deep enough that I’m shocked by my own irrationality.

Analysing it, it’s not about his arrogance and pissing about - all fighters are arrogant and 90% of them seem to piss about these days. It’s about how great he could have been and what a shameless waste of his ability his antics are.

He really is a fecking loser

Cut is a shitter and he would be stupid to go into one of the biggest fights of his career with it tbh in two weeks time. Open that up in the fight and he likely loses the fight by doctor stoppage. Not worth the risk when he can push the date back a month or so. Freak accident, shock horror people go into meltdown

It's just pathetic now every time i see a story with Fury or Joshua i instantly know it's just going to make me hate boxing more.

I know it has been going on before then but they have taken avoiding any hard fight to be levels.

How you can win a world title hold it for years but still never have a proper fight is unreal

Well according to Sports Illustrated and other boxing journalists it's "several months". Explain that one.

The cut does look quite nasty, and it's roughly in the same area that was damaged previously, so it's understandable if the fight is delayed for a few months.

Fury definitely has form for avoiding some big fights, but he can't be held responsible for a freak accident like this one.

Looks in good nick in the first photo, and that is a bad cut.
That’s an awful cut; what the hell kind of sparring were they to tear his face like that, unless it was an accidental clash of heads?

He’s clearly given everything he has - best shape he’s ever been in as a pro!

Real shitter for the fight to be off.

Just saw the clip a bit further down; I don’t know what people want? How is he being blamed for getting cut?

It's not this one occasion though, is it? There's always something with him

But none of that has anything to do with this. People are going in on him for an accident in sparring that has meant he can’t compete. It’s just silly. You aren’t competing with a cut like that in boxing. His history shouldn’t even come into play with something like this.

Feet up at home.
There is background with his matchups but I believe this is completely innocent. You cannot go into the biggest fight of your life with a cut like that.

I've heard the whispers about his training camp but he looks about as fit as he's been for many years. Also there is no way he wouldn't take this fight seriously.

He has had many flaws but this cut isn't a fake excuse imo.

I understand why people are angry giving Fury's previous antics but that doesn't mean he's lying here.

If he fights 1-3 months after then fine, but I can see this fight not happening at all now.

Its just one of those things. The problem is that the top guys are so inactive that when a fight is delayed it means it annoyingly extends the time period of when we see them in the ring. If they actually fought 4/5/6 times a year then fair enough. But if you're fighting once every 6/7 months and the fight is cancelled then its frustrating.

I think it's annoying because of all the delays and shit that we have had to deal with in the HW division. There was no need for the Ngannou fight for example.

The only other person Fury could fight in the HW division is Joshua and he was never going to do that before unifying the belts.

Could also say the same that there's no point Joshua fighting Ngannou himself. Wallin and then Ngannou just says that he's trying desperately to show Fury he's better than him, as Fury was poor against them both. If Joshua wants to show everyone he's serious, he should be going up against Zhang.

Joshua can’t afford another loss though and he knows it. He has to show people he’s serious….without getting knocked out cold by Zhang

There isn't. Fury could have fought Usyk sooner. He didn't and did Ngannou instead. That's what annoys people. The merry go round.

I reckon this strategy is going to backfire. I think Fury’s on the decline and considering the abuse he’s put his body through that decline could be quite steep.

Usyk on the other hand is eating like a monk and doing handstands on his dick.

Just seems harsh in this instance where he’s sporting a ravine across his eye. Can’t do a thing with that until it fully heels otherwise we’ll have a Vlad face when his bout was called with

Sounds like he’d get grief for that too!

Isn't this just more silliness?

Does anyone take this stuff seriously?

Just seems like Fury is a bit wound being portrayed as a ducker and this injury has just played into those people's hands who claim he is.

Obviously he is still a headcase though and playing up to the camera but he seems to have lost a lot of support lately due to his antics.

I rarely see anyone supporting Fury these days.

There’s been rumours of him getting a pasting in camp. I’m 99% sure I had posts in this thread years ago saying that Tyson shouldn’t leave the Joshua fight too long. He’ll be the first out of the lot of decline due to his lifestyle.

No one watching Buatsi vs Azeez? I wasn't for a second buying their "beef" (Sky must think we're 2 year olds), but two very good fighters going head to head, and was a good fight.

Whittaker looking really impressive by the way
