Bowen is an absolute banker to score tomorrow, so I have transfered him out and brought in Rashford.

Don't let me down Marcus.

Yep. Maybe I shouldn't have brought Jota in until after the deadline and saved myself the headache.
I massively considered him but his xGI hasn't been that impressive and they're playing Arse this week. I switched my thoughts to KDB instead for the double and gonna roll the dice on Darwin that donkey.

Loves a goal against Arsenal though doesn't he. I'll bring Darwin in next week. The less time spent with him the better. He can have Burnley, the double and then get the feck back out.

I’ve benched Saka for Douglas Luiz. Is that mental?

Yeah that's sensible. People are not thinking about the Liverpool double properly.

You need a full 11 minimum on GW26. Most have Palmer missing and many will have the likes of Doughty or Porro. Liverpool double then blank so if you load up on them then you are taking hits to remove them the following week to field and 11 (or blow your FH/WC, which is equally problematic).

As for that dipshit Darwin, I'm bringing him in for GW25, bench him GW26 and then he's getting the feck back out for Solanke.

I might go for Allison if I have the funds as he can be benched in 26 with no effect on my starting 11. I do own Doughty and Porro as well. Thinking Porro might have to go for a City defender. So yeah probably looking at bringing in Darwin, Allison, Gvardiol for 25.

What's the "sensible" play wrt the FH and WC chips until GW29? Assuming most plan on using a FH for that blank GW - but is that it? As mentioned to you before, I'm toying with the idea of a minor team makeover (3-4 transfers and getting KDB in) now or just before GW25 but i feel for 3-4 transfers it might be a waste. I could do that "organically" and bring in 1 or 2 more City players (I only have Haaland atm). So play the FH and roll the WC i assume is the sensible play?

Oh and who to bench this week out of my midfielders: Saka, Palmer, Garnacho, Bowen & Jota...

I’ve got a similar decision and I’m on Foden at the moment. Could see him being rested. Don’t feel great about it though!

Don't remember a benching headache like this. Still have no clue what I'll end up on.

So far I've nearly opted for Jota, Saka and Foden, before changing my mind each time. I'm also leaning towards Foden atm...

I think Porro is a good long term hold personally. Plus, I've made like 0.5 on him.

I would personally bench Garnacho as he's there lest explosive and biggest minutes risk.

I am saving FH for probably GW29 and WC for after that.

Saka. Least likely to score of those imo

Eh? Kick Garnacho out of there.
I would be hopeful Garnacho will outscore Bowen this week. We look like we might have goals in us now with our first 11 at last, and being at home, with Garnacho at the heart of most we do. Bowen struggling a bit without Paqueta. When it's a tight call i'd be siding with the player from the team I support, whether that's wise or not I'm not sure

Fair enough. I have no bias involved so wouldn't go for Garnacho.

I'm actually really struggling to bench Bowen instead of Foden. West ham have been bad but he's their main goalscorer and man United leak goals for fun

We do leak but I'm hopeful with another game in the bank for Martinez, Shaw and Casemiro we'll start looking a bit more solid. Subs in midweek were atrocious, hopefully not be needed tomorrow, though I'm always petrified of West Ham from set pieces when we have so little height.

If Bowen scores I'm sending @Dirty Schwein after you

Thanks DS. Shall go down the same route :nervous: and yeah, ended up benching Garnacho as my CFs can’t be benched.

Heh, there's basically no chance I'll get my transfers in in the next hour. The site is broken

The deadline passed and it's updating
Oh FFS.

I got distracted by a WhatsApp message and then just remembered I was halfway through it just now

Maybe it'll work out for me. Forgetting to do my transfers netted me a stack of points last time
