Pressure now all on West Ham to win the EL to get CL football, without winning it not sure they will even get EL football.

Not a fan of fans leaving at half time even if they are getting spanked. Stuff like that happens and no offence but they are West Ham not Real Madrid/Bayern Munich where that sort of stuff should be unacceptable/unlikely.

Anyway need to pad our gd just in case it comes down to it like that City/Utd season.
It's half term in London from tomorrow, so I can understand fans doing what they can to try to avoid traffic when the alternative is watching their team get eviscerated.

Additionally, from what I understand there's a large section of matchgoing West Ham fans who really don't like Moyes and they're probably better off voting with their feet than their lungs.

You would think the more West Ham try to go forward they might get picked off by Arsenal. Depends how much Arsenal want to improve their GD.

This is utterly pathetic from West Ham. Just standing around letting Arsenal pop it about with no resistance.

Were Chelsea properly in it in 2008/09? If not then maybe 2005? Chelsea, Arsenal, United.
2014 maybe? Chelsea finished 4 points off top and were first for a while in February/March.

07-08 until gallas melted down at Birmingham. Arsenal were top in March

Would you sit there at Goodison if Liverpool were completely spanking you and more of the same in the second half ?
Bit different but yeah. If I'm watching at home on TV I've turned it off at times but in stadium where I can have some influence I'll always try and show support.

and when they did try they beat Arsenal 2-0 away at the end of December. Today was the most embarrassing half of football for West ham in the history of the Premier league.
Wouldn't be so sure about that.

Utd and Blackburn hit them for 7 within the space of a few months, that's a long time ago, probably around 00/01. Leeds also smashed them for 5 at one point around/before that time, 'Arry was manager and WH finished the game with 9 men.

This has to be one of the worst performances of any team in the premier league this season.
Yep. There are times we speak hyperbole about grannies being able to score but I genuinely believe a team of caf members would score against West Ham today. Defensively it's one of the worst performances I've ever seen. So many gaping holes.

This is not what I expected after a somewhat boring first 20 of the game.

It seems like West Ham have just stopped caring now, that Saka goal the defenders were just meandering.

Good for Rice. Shameful that large sections of the crowd were booing him in the first half.
