Don't think City need to worry here. They have their owner's employee on VAR here so he'll find something if they need it.

How was the foul made by Dias not a yellow card. That was the the case they were making for the blue card.

I was thinking the same thing. That definitely should have been a yellow. He'd no interest in winning the ball.

Did the ref go easy on him because he was thrown to the deck for his trouble and he'd probably have to card them both?

I found this image caption on The Guardian website hilarious

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola reacts on the touchline as his charges are taking their time to get going.

This game is absolutely horrific to watch. City boring and Everton worse.

The atmosphere is completely sterile at the Etihad. You can hear everything being said on the touch line.

Every game should be party atmosphere after winning the treble. It's insane but not surprising
Everything feels manufactured

Thing is our atmosphere can drop a bit, but the fans still belt out our songs. This lot only get excited when everything is going great guns.

Thats the worst we've looked all season and we've had a few poor performances. Playing with Nunes is like playing with 10 men but Alvarez and Akanji looking Championship level today too.

Pep has to go. Has to.
I have a distinct feeling that Pep has stayed for two reasons :-

1. His drive to win a Champions League with City, and possibly a treble.
2. His enjoyment of going head-to-head with Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool.

Both of these things have been completed, and in the instance of Klopp, won't be a motivating factor anymore.

I wouldn't be surprised if, out of the blue, at the end of the season Pep calls it quits at City.

The standard of the PL is shocking nowadays. The change of the rules has not helped and it's only going to get worse.

Early kickoffs should be scrapped unless it's a derby.

Ideal for your lot here surely?
I hate early kick offs, we always seem to get them and always seem do naff in them. City are crap today but have that bit of quality which we don't to get over the line.

As it stands the relegated teams are top 3 in the Championship and the bottom 3 are the promoted teams

Its more to do with the colour of Jersey than anything else.

I think he goes at the end of next season.

Potentially the strongest crop of relegated teams vs the weakest promoted sides ever last season. Leicester certainly better than Sheffield, Burnley and Luton.
