The only final he didn’t play was the only time we won. Honestly, I’m actually getting tired of watching him only watch the ball and back off from making challenge rather than react to block or clear the ball. It’s almost like he always freeze everytime facing opposition players, may be that’s how he’s getting his nickname from.

Physically also not strong enough and I still remember the time when he got bullied by 178cm Schlupp in aerial duel. Unfortunately, I have little amount to say anything positive about Lindelof because he’s just not the level where man united want to be and he‘s clearly not born as a defender given how passive he is. Although, I will give a credit for being a good penalty taker in penalty shootout, the only asset he is good at.

This cant be true surely

I take it you didn't read the article.

In simple terms, the minimal interest that exists in Serie A relates to a loan deal involving a club in deep financial trouble, assuming they can shift high earners in the next few days. The article then explains why Lindelof is unsuitable for certain elite Italian teams due to their age policy or other reasons such as Lindelof wanting regular playing time.

United probably get tons of offers to loan our players provided we pay the bulk of the player's salary.

With Varane, Martinez, Evans and Maguire ready no need to have him around. Would be smart enough business if we can send him for as little as 10m Euro and give his minutes to Kimbabwe (don’t remember his it is spelled) and then we’ll have some proper dataset to review whether he is good enough to stay after summer or weather we need another player for the fifth spot

He’s the cb with most minutes this season so doubt they’ll sell him. Can’t really trust the other sick notes to stay fit. Don’t think they’ll sell any cb at all.

Across all tournaments Varane has played 18, Maguire 17, Lindelof 18, and Evans 17 games… they have all played almost the same amount of games and now you have Martinez and Kambwala in the team as well and add to that we are out of 2 cups and most likely is gonna play 1 game a week. We’re are more than covered at CB and if we can cash in on Lindelof we should without thinking twice

Can't blame him too much as he isn't a left back but it was a poor performance. Doesn't really have any of the traits you would require from a decent left back. Hopefully we don't see him there again.

He was gash, but admittedly leftback is not his natural position. With how Maguire is playing at the moment, I think he has dropped to 4th choice for the centerback position.

Was Villa’s best player. He’s just so passive all the time - doesn’t matter if he’s at left back or centre back.

He's outstayed his welcome by about 4 seasons, horrible player.

Better than his last two Villa Park appearances, which were absolutely horrific. This time though, he was just bad, which is an improvement I guess. Not a left back...or a Utd player but whatever.

He’s not a left back at all, and I hope we don’t see that again.

Totally out of his depth at Lb. We’d be better off playing Antony at LB

I'd be tempted to put Kambwala there, but football Heisenberg works in mysterious ways.

That moment when he overlapped Rashford and then came infield and just floated around like he was a number 10

Was very kind of Emery to feel such pity for him that he took Bailey off to save him from more embarrassment. Helped us out a lot that change.
