Varane has been poor
Need another moment(tm) from Garnacho todayAmazing how much recent success we have had with such a basic, hit it over the top and run, style of play.
The calls were based on him being subbed on there and it being the best option if you wanted to keep the other 2 in their best positions. If he wanted to move Rashford central then just play Amad, or if it has to be Forson put him on the left and keep Garnacho in his spot.I never really got the calls for Forson as a #9 to be honest. I've seen him a lot with the U18's and U21's and he's always been an attacking midfielder / wide striker. The #9's have been the likes of Hugill, McNeill, now Wheatley. Occasionally a 'false' one playing out of position, so Forson may have played there very infrequently.
Moving Rashford to centre, Garnacho to left, and bringing in either Antony, Amad or Forson on the right always seemed the far most likely option.
Of course, they're all mobile so they'll likely switch during the game.
We’re basically just playing the football Ole did.Amazing how much recent success we have had with such a basic, hit it over the top and run, style of play.
We may as well have kept him. I see very little change or improvement under ETH.We’re basically just playing the football Ole did.
Having a striker that scores almost every shot he takes recently helps. But yeah the football hasn’t been anything dominant.Amazing how much recent success we have had with such a basic, hit it over the top and run, style of play.
It's the most frustrating thing. Every single team carves us open at least a few times a game. Why are we more often than not so easy to play against.
Fun when it worksWe’re basically just playing the football Ole did.
Such terrible defending. Could see that coming a mile offMaguire is a fecking idiot
