That was a blatant dive by RVN, can't believe the ref fell for it. It's a disgrace.

Still in the reserves and how old am I?

Arsenal

Arsenal finished 2nd in the league, 21 points from the top. Knocked out in the 3rd round of the league cup and the 4th round of the FA cup. Reached the 2nd group stage of the CL.

@Cheimoon 13 matches, 2 goals, 6.77
@Ian Reus 38 matches, 3 goals, 2 potm, 7.16
@oneniltothearsenal 48 matches, 1 goal, 2 assists, 1 potm, 7.25
@sebsheep 4 matches, goals conceded, 6.25

@Ian Reus and @oneniltothearsenal played every time they were available, @Cheimoon got a few chances in the second half of the season, @sebsheep only played when the main goalie was unavailable.

@oneniltothearsenal was Young Player of the Month once and finished 3rd in the Young Player of the Year award.

Aston Villa

Villa finished 17th in the league and only avoided relegation in the last match of the season. Knocked out in the 3rd round of both league cup and FA cup. In the UEFA cup they were knocked out in the 2nd round against Sturm Graz.

@OptimisedRed 46 matches, 1 goal, 1 assist, 3 potm, 7.20

@OptimisedRed is one of the first names on the game sheet and was the team's 2nd best player behind Juan Pablo Angel.

Burnley

Burnley finished 23rd in the Championship and was relegated to League 1. They were knocked out in the 1st round of the league cup and 3rd round of the FA cup. Terrible season overall.

@Samid 1 match, 6.00

Despite being on the bench in a few matches, @Samid only played once and was not his best match. He played 16 matches for the reserves but didn't score or assist. 6.88 average. Lots of unhappy players, the club is a mess, but maybe the best players leaving might be a chance for @Samid

Celtic

Celtic were scottish champions, finishing 24 points ahead of Rangers. They also won the league cup but lost in penalties in the FA cup 4th round. In Europe they were knocked out in the CL 1st group stage but then managed to reach the semi finals of the UEFA cup where they were knocked out in penalties by Inter Milan.

@Welsh Wonder only played 3 matches since moving from Madrid, where he played 10 games. Didn't score or assist and had a 7.00 rating. Very underwhelming but he seems to be happy.

Chelsea

Chelsea finished 6th in the league, only 2 points behind the CL spots. They reached the league cup quarters and lost in the FA cup 3rd round. In europe, they got to the UEFA cup 3rd round but were knocked out by Ajax.

@anant 41 matches, 5 goals, 3 assists, 3 potm, 7.39
@pacifictheme 37 matches, 6 goals, 5 assists, 7.03

Both are undisputed names in the first XI.

@anant was Young Player of the Month once and finished 2nd in the Young Player of the Year award.

FC Bayern

Bayern finished 2nd in the league, 12 points behind Dortmund. They won the german super cup and the UEFA super cup, lost the league cup final and lost in the 2nd round of the FA cup. In December they beat Atletico Nacional to win the Intercontinental Cup. In the CL they reached the quarters but lost 5-1 aggregate to Real Madrid.

@LARulz 36 matches, 8 goals, 2 assists, 2 potm, 6.97

Not much to say, good stats but poor average, so probably a bit inconsistent, but hey, undisputed in Bayern's midfield.

Ipswich

Ipswich finished 10th in the PL and lost in the 3rd round of both league and FA cups. They also played in Europe but lost in the first round of the UEFA cup to Legia Warsaw.

@Stobzilla 39 matches, 2 goals, 1 assist, 2 potm, 7.36

Great season for @Stobzilla, the boss of the club's defense and tied with Jay Jay Okocha as the best rated player in the team. He also won the Young Player of the Month award twice.

Leeds United

Leeds finished 7th in the PL, which was disappointing. They lost to United in the quarters of the league cup and to Fulham in the FA cup 5th round. They had a great UEFA Cup campaign but fell short, losing to Milan in the semi finals.

@Hephaestus 48 matches, 1 goal, 3 assists, 1 potm, 7.35
@Peter van der Gea 26 matches, 37 goals against, 7.08
@paulscholes18 7 matches, 1 goal, 1 assist, 7.43

@Hephaestus is the first name on the game sheet and won the Player of the Month award once.

@Peter van der Gea got the number 1 spot halfway through the season and won the Player of the Month award once.

@paulscholes18 had good rating every time he played, but he didn't get to play a lot. He was listed for loan in january but rejected all offers from Championship clubs.

Liverpool

Liverpool finished 3rd and secured CL football. They were knocked out by United in the 4th round of the league cup and by Blackburn in the FA cup quarter finals. They also lost the community shield to United and the UEFA super cup to Bayern. In the CL, they reached the 2nd group stage, but finished behind Lazio and Dortmund.

@BenitoSTARR 44 matches, 18 goals, 5 assists, 6 potm, 7.43
@BristolMick 39 matches, 39 goals conceded, 7.05
@Shakesy 41 matches, 2 goals, 3 assists, 3 potm, 6.85
@Skizzo 43 matches, 8 goals, 4 assists, 6.72
@The Cat 39 matches, 7 goals, 4 assists, 6.97
@spontaneus1 36 matches, 12 goals, 4 assists, 2 potm, 7.42

Manchester United

United dominated the league, finishing 1st 21 points ahead of Arsenal. They completed the quadruple by beating Millwall in the league cup final and Birmingham in the FA cup final. They also started the season beating Liverpool to win the community shield. In the CL they lost to Dortmund in the quarter finals.

@Dr. Dwayne 37 matches, 4 goals, 3 assists, 1 potm, 7.24
@Mr Pigeon 33 matches, 3 goals, 6 assists, 2 potm, 7.03
@P-Nut 51 matches, 4 goals, 8 assists, 7.24
@Withnail 29 matches, 1 goal, 1 assist, 7.10
@golden_blunder 55 matches, 2 goals, 4 assists, 2 potm, 7.58
@nimic 48 matches, 27 goals, 4 assists, 4 potm, 7.56
@whitbyviking 54 matches, 6 goals, 13 assists, 1 potm, 7.07

Despite the dominance and the huge amount of matches played, no United caf players made it into the team of the season, unlike Veron, Giggs, RvN and Silvestre. Yes, Silvestre.

Newcastle United

Newcastle finished 8th in the PL, lost in the 3rd round of the league cup and made it to the semis of the FA cup, but lost to United.

@AbusementPark 15 matches, 2 goals, 1 potm, 7.20
@Herman Toothrot 33 matches, 7 goals, 5 assists, 4 potm, 7.55
@Siorac 3 matches, 6.67

@Herman Toothrot with an amazing season, only second to Shearer in the Newcastle team.

@Siorac spent the entire season listed for loan but refusing all offers.

@AbusementPark played 15 matches, but only 5 times 90 minutes. He was listed for loan in January but no offers came in.

Nottingham Forest

Forest struggled financially and has new owners. They finished 8th in the Championship, 3 points outside of the playoffs. They lost in the 3rd round of both the league cup and the FA cup.

@K Stand Knut 46 matches, 6 goals, 8 assists, 6.98

Good numbers but bad average, probably brought down by the weak squad. Chelsea and Middlesbrough are currently interested, let's see if @K Stand Knut moves to the PL this summer.

Southampton

Terrible season by the Saints, they finished 19th and were relegated to the Championship. The were knocked out in the 3rd round of the league cup and 4th round of the FA cup.

@Big Andy 31 matches, 1 assist, 6.87

@Big Andy had a few injuries in the 2nd half of the season, definitely the reason the team was relegated. Currently Everton and Derby are interested, let's see if he avoids going down with the club.

West Ham

West Ham finished 9th in the PL. They lost in the 4th round of the fa cup and reached the semi finals of the league cup, being knocked out by United.

@TrustInOle 9 matches, 2 goals, 1 assist, 7.00
@WR 34 matches, 4 goals, 5 assists, 1 potm, 6.85
@youngrell 38 matches, 9 goals, 3 assists, 2 potm, 7.13

@TrustInOle was listed for loan pretty early in the season but despite some interest by championship clubs, he never moved and eneded up playing very little.

@WR probably suffered because of the managers choice, he's a DM but played almost always as an attacking CM.

@youngrell was one of the league's hottest prospects and won Young Player of the Month 3 times. Once the season ended, offers started coming in: United, Arsenal, Valencia, Dortmund and Milan. So where did he end up? Yes, he moved to Celtic for 13M, where he'll have @Welsh Wonder as a new team mate.

Not a great average but seemingly a lot of games. Were they starts or off the bench?

Either way, happy at Bayern. Let's hope I don't get flogged

Can you pay people to inflict career-ending injuries in this game? Asking for a friend.

RVN obviously the beneficiary of my 13 assists in the league. Decent return from me with 19 combined g+a. Seems a good manager knows how to get a tune out of good players….
