Biden said, not a gaffe, that the wealth gap is smaller than it has been in 20 years.

Yeah, that must be bullshit, but i guess something can be learned from Trump, just say stuff with confidence, and people will believe it, i guess.

Maybe there is some specific thing he is refeering to, so "technically" correct, idk.

IRA, BBB have been huge success and most of the announced projects have been in red states! Joe is right on point here

The legislation is actually popular, according to recent poll, something dems should bring up much more, and also who voted against it.

If dems had a left-wing fox news, this would be 24/7 on the news in the swing-states, from now until election day.

Someone please remind me who is supposed to give the rebuttal.

Does it have to be an elected official? Or could Trump do it himself?

Nice little roast there by Biden, pointing out that none of the republicans voted for the IRA.

Such a missed opportunity, to not bring up the fact that Trump is still running on getting rid of ACA...who writes this stuff?

Health care is not, in fact, settled! Remind the voters of that.

Red Card for Casemiro!
He's more coherent, passionate, and deliberate in his speech than I thought he would be. Sure, the body language is stifled due to age - he can't turn or move his hands or bang the table or raise his voice like a younger man can - but his mental acuity is far more competent than I'd expected.

Yeah, he’s in pretty fine form tonight. Definitely outperforming expectations.

Rating for the speech? Didn't watch it because of work.

A pedestrian 6.5 or a quality 8.5 or somewhere in between?

Eh, gun control is a waste of time to bring up.

Americans have long since accepted that regular mass shootings is an acceptable cost for keeping their precious semi-asasult rifles.

He did quite well, unfortunately, half the US watches Faux, so they will be told a different story, and much of the population doesn't pay attention anyway, at least not at this point.

Guess he stopped the bleeding, for what it is worth.
