Monty Ioane would have got a yellow for kicking the ball away if he was playing football.

Louis Lynagh, who got his mother's genes, will make his debut for Italy and Scotland. His brother Tom, who got his father's genes went off injured in the Queensland Reds 25 19 win over the Chiefs in Super Rugby Pacific.

The reigning champion Crusaders have started the season with 3 straight losses for the first time since 1996, the inaugural season of Super12. That year they finished dead last. I'm not going to predict something as grim as that but with a new coaching staff and the likes of Mo'unga, Whitelock and Leicester Fainga'anuku all overseas, the men from Christchurch are under the pump.
Nervy so far but had a half-chance of a hackthrough try there.

What’s the reception for the 6N over there? Does it get much interest?
There'll be interest among rugby types but not the general Aussie sporting public. It's hard to watch the games live due to the time difference but the streaming service here enables people to watch games at their leisure on demand. The perception some have of the 6N here is that's it's still all about rain, scrums, mauls and penalty goals. That perception is outdated but it still gets thrown around not just by rugby league types but by some rugby types too.

Well done Italy but this just sums up how frustrating a side Scotland can be.

If that wasn’t a knock on, there were at least 5 other knock ons or forward passes from Scotland that went unchecked during that last ten minutes.

I thought Italy were going to get robbed again.

Brilliant stuff. Italy win!
They really have improved a lot. They were within a kick of two wins, so to show up today and come from behind was great.
Delighted for them.
