I'm interested in viewership numbers. Did the recent WC have more viewers than 2019?

I think it's a bit early to tell. Earls and obviously Sexton have officially retired and O'Mahony hinted at it. He said he'd have to go away and think about whether he'd come back or call it a day.Is it too early to talk about the six nations?

I wanted France to get to the final because they had invested so, so heavily in youth and I wanted Ireland to also.
Then Ntamack got crocked before the start and scuppered that plan somewhat.
I still would prefer Ireland to put faith in youth and don't mind having a crap 6N year or two.

I would put Pollard as the player of the RWC at least. He didn't miss a single kick all tournament I think, and considering we won every knockout game by 1 point, he was the difference maker. And that ignores the fact he hasn't played for ages.

The definite retirees are Kolisi and Vermeulen AFAIK. I can't see Etzebeth making the next WC either. I have a feeling the rest may push to be there in 4 years time, but it will probably be 1 tournament too far.
The Dream Team of the year only has 1 South African in it. Surprising to say the least.
