Solanke somehow gone to top of bonus despite not being involved in the next 2 goals.

Inevitable Luton were going to crumble.
3-3.
Do they lose now?

I have 6 players in this.... Doughty, Barkley, Solanke and Zabarnyi are 4 of them, just need that Morris goal now... but I can let Neto slide.

When I said 4-4, I wasn't really serious but I'll take it.

Same. Should've just had one. If not him then Barkley. That Doughty free kick angled in to him (Morris) is very predictable but strangely effective.

That felt awful. Had to tell me mates at work that they're redundant and now this. I'm going to straight to bed :(

Commiserations on the shite day.

At least your club might go down but it sure as hell entertains more than United.

How about a punt on Morris at home against NFO. Might be an open game. Currently on him and will see how it goes closer to the deadline
Yeah not a bad shout. I always look at the mids first and foremost though.
I take that back. Been a shitty week for Morris owners but that means surely he’ll haul when I don’t captain him in 29

Ended on 61 and a small green. Garnacho and Porro points on the bench is annoying though. Well played by the Palmer owners as well.

Gained points, lost more gains from Sunday... Had I got Palmer for Foden right and Solanke wasn't a wasteman, it could have been an absolute banging week.

70 for me and a decent green.

Still undecided between Muniz and Toney out for Solanke to get my 11 for 29. Toney is the safe pick obviously but Muniz has great fixtures immediately after as well and also is at the perfect price to ride the bench until I can swap him for a GW37 doubler. Need to make that decision before Solanke drops in price this week as it'll cost me £0.1m. Bus team currently...

Areola
Doughty Reguillon Udogie
Barkley Maddison Son Bowen
Watkins Morris ????

Neto Saka Gabriel Zabba

Plan is Salah and Palmer back in 30 and Haaland and Darwin/Havertz in 31.

I think if I can then target the likes of Petrovic, Branthwaite, Gusto and Cunha for Areola, Doughty, Reguillon, Muniz I'll be in good shape for a BB in 37.

Since he's never had a single haul in his career, you're probably right. Could easily have returned yesterday too. Maybe he'll score his 5th ever PL goal from open play next week, but it's more likely he doesn't.

Compare him to the other captaincy options for GW29:
Morris (4 goals (+4 pens) and 4 (+2 FPL assists) assists in 28 games).
Watkins (16 goals and 10 (+5 FPL assists) assists from open play in 28 games)
Son (13 goals (+1 pen) and 8 assists from open play in 24 games, he's also on pens) - plus CS bonus and extra points for returns
Bowen (14 goals and 3 assists from open play in 27 games) - plus CS bonus and extra points for returns
Toney (Slightly better team, a lot better record and on pens)

You'd be one of very, very few to captain Morris in 29 if you do. (His last match against NFO: 0 goals (0,18xG) and 0 assists (0,03xA))
I think you can assume a haul from him will be a nice differential even without the armband.

Nice squad! Were you among the guys who WC'ed in 27/28?

I'm also looking to ship Solanke for a player with a fixture in 29 this week. I'll probably go safe an get Toney. With Jimenez on his way back, Muniz will probably not be as nailed for minutes as he's been the last month and a half. I will WC in 31, so this transfer will be for GW29+30 returns only. Toney (bur/MUN) - Muniz (TOT/shu)

My 29 team will then be:

Kaminski
Doughty, Porro, Reguilon, Coufal
Son(C), Maddo, Bowen, Barkley
Watkins, Toney

Bench: Pickford, Burn, Saka, Haaland
1,7M ITB

Not very exiting or much differential there, but will cover most FH teams and gain some ground vs. teams who can't field 11.......hopefully.

The squad is well set for GW30 as well, with Palmer in for Barkley.

Yeah I wildcarded this week and yeah I will probably end up going Toney myself as I'm pretty risk averse in FPL.

Watkins looked like he was seriously injured, stays on and scores, and now looks like going off. Pretty much everyone owns him at this stage so not too much of a blow

Yeah was a bad cut/impact injury according to Leon Bailey. Explains why he thought he could play on for a bit. Decent chance of being ok for the weekend.

In other news Reguillon is back in training and Salah got through 90 mins in one piece and looked great.

Going to roll on with Watkins as I’ve already done my changes and took a -4 for a 9 man team. Don’t see quality in making a -8 this weekend albeit tempted to get Toney for Watkins
