Very impressive for Czech league to be 7th, ahead of Turkey and Portugal
The Czech coefficient has a big impact on the Scottish league. Scotland currently sit 10th and get 1 automatic Champions League place, but the Czech league sits just behind them and is likely to overtake them this season, meaning the Scottish league would lose the automatic qualifying place from the 25/26 season, meaning the Champions would need to face a qualifier again.

Not UEFA, it’s OPTA…. And the probability went down from 83 to 71 after the draw.

I stand corrected, thanks for the new information. But still 70% chance of something happening is a pretty good chance it will happen.

Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid both have the first leg at home. There could be some potential issues of having two CL matches in Madrid on the same day.
Swi, Bayern vs Arsenal with Atletico vs Dortmund.

This is the only way to respect that rule and at the same time satisfy big European markets (BVB and Bayern on different nights for German tv broadcasters) and most of international markets (Barça vs PSG game not on the same night as Madrid).

City has a brutal schedule compared to us. Zero reason to not take advantage, Carlo better have them running like maniacs the way Klopp did and stop doing dumb shite like Kroos as DM and Modric next to him. Our best chance is at the SB.
He better because I have not digested the way Real Madrid played so badly against City last season. It was one of the most gutless displays I have ever seen from a Carlo Ancelotti team in Europe.

Yeah I don’t mind losing if we at least try. But playing that weird formation and telling the team to sit back was just dumb.

Again wouldn’t hold a loss against him, but needs to do so much better than whatever that was.

Same as last year, one side of the draw has four potential winners and the other side contains the already losing finalist.

Last year showed Inzaghi’s Inter posing the only serious threat to City’s inevitable triumph. And there is reason to believe Spaletti’s Napoli would have been just as dangerous.

This year I believe Barça and BVB (and their coaches) may be too naive for this stage. But we have PSG and Atletico. Very unpredictable teams. I’d fancy either of them against opponents from the other half (Except City, but still they would threaten City).

City this year is IMO not as good and not as motivated as last season, so either PSG or Altetico in the final would pose a bigger challenge than Inter last year - mind you, I hate Inter with passion for most of my life, so I'm not very objective

City are winning CL, I have no doubts about it.

Only question for me is will it be back to back trebles?

Lucky PSG-Barcelona :mad::mad::mad::mad:

One of them making the final off lucky draws :devil::devil:
I like our bracket as if we win people will still come up with stuff about us being lucky or not deserving to go through.

That being said I prefer PSG eliminating Barcelona :)

If Arsenal and City win the quarters, I think Liverpool will almost certainly win the league considering what that will take out of both teams. But they'd be great games.

Potential finals are interesting

2006 rematch
Madrid Derby
El Classico

If I was to take a punt, I feel it'll be a horrible City vs Atletico final. Like a poster said above, one side of the draw feels like potential winners, like last year.

The league isn't nailed on, that said what's worse a Liverpool title win or a City treble?

We can only pray for an Arsenal title. Which makes me a little sick in my mouth as well.

Arsenal to win the league all day long over the other 2. That depends on if they get a positive result against city at the Etihad though.

Yeah I suppose last season I stupidly thought we could stop their treble in FA Cup Final, therefore wasn't fussed when Arsenal blew it. I feel very differently this season and really hope they can win it this time.

This seasons more interesting one. There’s 3 teams fighting for the league and all 3 teams are still in Europe. All comes down to which squad gets tired the most I suppose.

Let me focus on the good: PSG-Barca gets one of the clubs out, that I definitely wouldn't want to see winning it. And Real is probably the best chance to get City out.

I’d take Arsenal as my choice of three terrible outcomes. Liverpool I’d actually take before a City treble though. As much as I hate Liverpool at least they are not a huge cheating entity who pending the outcome of 115 charges, look like they’ll continue to dominate for a very long time at home and in Europe.

Don't want City to win another CL and be just one behind us, no way.
Wouldn't mind Arsenal winning it tbh.
Yeah we should be much closer to scousers Champions League titles, unfortunately we had a few that got away such as Dortmund (97) Leverkusen (02) and Porto (04). You could maybe even say Barcelona (09) but think that one is pushing it.

A final is pushing it more than 2 SF(finals against Juventus at their 90s peak and the Galacticos at theirs) and a R16....

Why is Arsenal and city on the same night? Surely they should have been put on different nights so they can both be watched?

Can't play two games in Madrid on the same night. So the options were pairing either Real/Barca or City/Arsenal.

It's actually disgraceful the amount of rubbish you have to put up with on the lead up to have 2 interesting matches to be put on at the same time. Twice

Because everyone knows that Arsenal is losing 1-5.

Mate, it’s Arsenal.
And your 13 pts behind Leverkusen so what makes you think Arsenal will be a stroll in the park. They’ve not been beat by arguably the best team in Europe (city) this season.
