Okay, I swear the media need to pile a shitton of pressure on Eddie Howe in the same way that they have done on ETH.

How do you think the Saudis will deal with Howe now?
I was listening to one of the most popular football shows on the radio in France, and they were basically saying : « it is such a difficult season for Newcastle, with all their injuries, and they also suffer from heightened expectations because they overperformed last season ».
The same journalist a couple weeks ago said about United « of course they have injuries but it’s not an excuse »…

The problem is Newcastle were punching so far above their weight last season considering the players they had, that I think it might just be a case of a lot of their players regressing back to their natural sort of level.

It could happen to Spurs too

Rightfully so.

Both situations aren't comparable at all. One hads genuinely lifted a team in a relegation battle to a Champions League place, the other managed to ruin his great first season with braindead tactics and awful signings.

Both are on their way out, but for very different reasons.

Cant imagine Howe is going to last at Newc beyond this season. Don't think Saudis will be enamoured with football tgar leads to only 2 attempts at goal! Lots of good managerial vacancies this summer but only 2/3 top quality candidates.

Infuriating that we lost to this trash Newcastle team 3 times in a row with 0 goals to show for it.

Just watched the highlights of the Wolves v Coventry game, what a finish to the end of the game. Fair play to Coventry, they looked like they dominated Wolves all game and got what they deserved in the end. Ait-Nouri looks a player though.

He looks a wonderful player. My dream signing at lb. He's so good he's played at cf for Wolves since Cunha's got injured.

Unfortunately he's being linked with Liverpool and City so he's going to be another one I end up hating.

If we can beat Liverpool, and that's a big if, I hope we get city in the semi-finals.

Their beating us in another final en route to a double treble is too much to bear. If it has to pass, let us fall earlier.

Probably beat both and lose to Coventry in the final.

Mark Robins costing EtH the United job.

How the papers would love that shit.

Never had such a wild ride in such a short post.

Something here for Leicester. They're pressing very well and Chelsea have started very flat.

Vestegaard was dismal for that goal.

Leicester can get away with Vestegaard-Faes as CB combo in the Championship but miles off it at prem level so going to need a couple of new CBs if they're going to be comfortable mid table.

You could set your watch by this game. Chelsea score, Leicester miss a couple of chances before Chelsea get the second to kill the game completely

Why wasn't Cold Palmer on it? What's the point in calling him Cold if you are not going to give him these kind of opportunities.

There's no real bite to this game. Doesn't really feel like a feisty quarter-final sort of affair.

Sterling is moaning he can't make the England squad anymore and he produces that as a penalty?!

As I've said before he sums up Chelsea's issues currently. Visually looks busy and on it but chronic lack of productivity at key points in games.

There's a goal in this for Leicester for Chelsea's pace looks too much for them.
