Only guy watching the game at the bar for Saint Patrick's, took my shirt off, celebrated it like a child. God, how I missed that feeling.

Great to see them just play the ball long when urgency was needed. It was very effective. Reminded me a bit of the old days when put the opposition under massive pressure near the end of a game with Beckham putting in dangerous balls from distance.

Where do I direct the claims for damages this game probably did to my health? This extra time alone must have taken years off my life expectancy.

Not a very impressive game by either team in terms of skills and tactics, but one cannot fault the effort shown on both sides. It was especially commendable how United's players still showed heart and effort after going down 2:3 in ET, turning it around in the second half and making big effort runs across the entire pitch until the very last minute of the game.

Sucks that Amad caught a second yellow and got himself sent off for celebrating his goal, but I find it hard to fault the kid for getting caught up in the moment.

dwight yorke is giving it to macateer on bein at the moment its hilarious

"yeah but jason we can argue about this all day, but what's the score?"
What on earth is McAteer being bitter about? They had 2 deflections, got away with McAllister studding Maguire in the chest and had nothing against them today.

Forget everything else. It was about our biggest rivals today on their bellend manager's farewell tour being given the boot and we got it done in amazing fashion.

Shout out to the ref, honourable scouse cnut.

And that’s what happens when you play Amad instead of Omari Forson. (No disrespect to Omari but he’s not a first team player in any sense of the word).

Hope ETH is eating some humble pie.
Weird priorities for a Man Utd fan to have in this moment but hey to each their own.

I have to say that I am proud of the team for the first time in a long time. We fought back multiple times and we actually deserved it. Glad to see Amad and Antony score. So confused as to why Amad too his shirt off, he must have forgotten he got booked. We'll deal with that problem when we come to it. For now, we celebrate.

Been a fan for 23 years. First live match. Could not ask for more. Absolutely smashing day. All time lifetime day.
Mine was the Ronaldo-less Tevez welcome to Manchester 4-3 against City with Owen scoring in the 96th minute.

We should get season tickets.

Yay for Coventry … was really impressed with our back 5. Dalot and Maguire were unreal. Garnacho superb. Mainoo—an amazing mixture of talent, poise, and running till his legs gave out. McTominay was anonymous for large parts but then showed up when it counted. Rashford kept going though quality let him down. Amad is a mad man (pun intended). Eriksen showed he’s still got it. Bruno did enough. Not great but enough. Good performance all around. Not sure what formation we had at the end there but kudos to ten Hag for going for it.

We created plenty to win this in both 90 minutes and extra time.

Been going to Old Trafford for 27 years now.

This is one of the greatest games I've had the privilege of being at.

I now regret breaking the door to the freezer when it was 3-2. Have to come up with some excuse or blame a child

I was in the Stretford end for this. One of the best days ever. The place went mental with the winner, I’ll remember this for a long time.

Thought we shown great courage and fight, created 28 shots and had many great chances to score and scored some brilliant goals.

Certainly feels like the players banded together for the shirt, the manager and fans, game on national television and made us proud. I just hope the players can work hard for each other to end the season.

When you see Rashford trying harder and being available more it can really help with our passing angles and pressure up front and give the opposition something to think about. Hopefully we can keep going and not drop into sulk passive mode and have a strong end to the season.

Bruno and Garnacho were better on the ball as well. Amad was brilliant in the heat of the match, I wonder what he can do if trusted.

When you have 40 odd% possession it can give you a really good holding and teams with that can look and create the best often. We did that today.

I'm still catching my breath here. Hurt my hand by hitting the wall so many times. This is what we all want. Never giving up and playing till the end. We deserved this win not only for our attitude but also for the quality we showed. Credit to EtH as well, threw everything we had at them. That's our team. That's a United team. Thank you lads.

We created the better chances and two of their goals were jammy deflections, yet the post-match narrative is that we rode our luck and it was a smash and grab because Liverpool successfully passed it sideways to each other on the halfway line for 20 minutes at the start of the second half.
