There are thousands of vehicles in Moscow with UA plates.
I’m not suggesting it will have any repercussions for Putin, but this kind of thing certainly impacts the perceived level of control he has of his own country. Moreso if it is seen as his Ukraine war spilling over into his capital, considering it was initially supposed to be a walkover lasting a few days or weeks.

Are you living in Russia? I was just asking if anyone that actually lived there could confirm. Or did you have a source to quote re cars with Ukrainian plates? I think it's bizarre you're talking so confidently about this unless you live there or have visited since the invasion.
There's loads of Russians pointing that out as a reason for why fixating on the UA plated van was ridiculous. I don't see why they'd lie about that. Anyway, 2.5m Ukrainians fled to Russia since the start of the invasion, I'd be shocked if none of them are driving UA plated vehicles.
