Damn was obviously hoping my national team go to Euros but its hard to be upset about losing to Ukraine considering everything that's happening to their country

You'd say Mainoo has definitely booked his place at the Euros and Toney has done himself no harm tonight either. His penalty taking ability alone edges things massively in his favour.

Dunk hopefully has shown he isn't good enough and should be nowhere near the squad for the tournament. Chilwell has been awful across both games too but the lack of LBs probably saves him.

Foden really failed to deliver in both friendlies. Just don’t see him as a pivotal main man for the NT.
He's a pass and movd forward on a team made of open space ball carriers and runners

If Rashford or Graelish are fit England would be better off starting either of them in his place(Graelish as the defensive alternative)

Once again, 'best young player in the world' Foden is fecking shite. Not seen him play well for England once. Sancho-esque.

Bellingham has had a poor game. Need to extract that Real Madrid form out of him. He shouldn't be operating so deep.

Bringing on Gordon over Palmer against a packed defence like this should get Gareth the boot.
I thought Palmer wasn't fit? If he is, then I agree 100%, that is criminal, Exactly the sub needed, along with Maddison tbf

Funny now that Southgate has created this Dunk problem and has to stick with him because he's ignored Guehi, Tomori, Branthwaite and Colwill so he's stuck with just him Konsa, Maguire and Stones.

England's interplay going forward has looked alright tonight. A couple of fringe players have shown something and the play on the ball has not been as bad as the result looks.

Some comical defending though, some real poor individuals back there for England.
