We were shit and Brentford were much better. But i still dont think Brentford deserved anything from the game. Think they got what they deserve with one goalscorer on the pitch and a guy who specialises in long throws being their most creative player.
Feel like theres a few teams like them in the league who will outplay teams and get beaten because they overload their team with workhorses.

I hate was this team has done to me. I actually felt gutted when we scored because it was that undeserved, and I smiled when they equalised.

That was tactically fecking atrocious. If our wingers don’t play well then we basically have no plan.

Our press is somehow both half arsed and over committed. It takes two simple passes to play through it and they then have absolute acres in behind us.

Worst performance of the season. An absolute disgrace. ETH and the coaching team shaking hands after the Mount goal like all their hard work and game planning had paid off after the 95 minutes that came before was nauseating.

Absolutely abysmal when you think of how much money we have spent on players, and the skills we know they possess somewhere beneath the enigmatic layers of dysfunction.

Maybe EtH could have tried Dalot on the left. AWB on the left works only if you are trying to contain or mark out a player like Salah. Otherwise you make it too easy for the opposition to know you have no attacking capabilities down the left.

An absolutely diabolical performance that should have been punished by Brentford. And I mean really punished. We deserved a pummelling. How on earth did we let them have 31 shots? Why does this keep happening?

Got absolutely bullied straight through. By Brentford.
A proper smash and grab point

A draw is undeserved, but it was almost some how a win.

Pathetic performances to be honest.

Nice to see Mount score.

There is no desire in this lot to get in the right positions or try to win the ball back. I hope after the summer we can relegate both McT and Bruno to the bench and get people in who can be bothered to try and get back.

Not hard to be able to pass the ball better than either of them, Almost every pass Bruno hits is behind his man, to the wrong foot or at a stupid height.

Reminds me of us under Rangnick. The players have given up - they are not motivated in the slightest.

Find it astonishing you can come off a massive cup win and play like that.

Only positive was mount and the back four.

It's games like this that make you realise why EtH needs to move on.

I like the bloke and every now and again there's a flicker of something that makes you hope against hope he can make it click.

The bottom line, though, is that too often we're completely outplayed, outfought and outthought by opponents with a tiny fraction of our resources

8pm away in London didn't scream great performance ahead, but that was one to forget.

Nothing left to be said really is there? Just delete the euphoria of 2 weeks ago and you realise we're still where we were. Going nowhere.

If Ten Hag is still in a job come the end of the season, then we deserve everything we get next season. The rebuild job in the summer is going to be even harder without CL football.

I don’t know where to start. That was absolutely atrocious from the team today, the standard of football that we displayed today was terrible. We let Brentford off with it at the end there, but in truth, they should have battered us 6-0, it’s the most undeserved point we have gained all season. There was no tempo all game and the quality of passing was non existent, we lost the ball tine and tine again and let them run through us all game. Big well done to Mount though who came on and scored his first goal for the club, really happy for him, that should have been the winner but we lost concentration at a big point in the match and gave up what should have been an extremely lucky three points.

2 more defensive injuries too which is typical. You can kind of see why it’s happening though as our defenders are completely over worked at the back with the amount of attacks they have to stop and blocks they have to make.

We didn't deserve shit from this game, but our mental fragility is a real issue, has been for years now

My Word...can it get any more depressing...We were lucky it wasn't a hammering in truth. 6 players need to be out of the squad before any improvement can be made.

How the hell do we concede so many chances against poor opposition. Game after game the struggling teams break all records smashing shots at us And ETH seems helpless to correct it.
The usual dismal performance that we have gotten so used to this season.
5- 1 to Brentford was a fairer reflection on that game.

The only positives today Onana was excellent And mounts goal.

In many ways this was a regression from the 4-0 . In that game they only managed 13 shots on goal.

It’s so unnerving seeing that happen time and time again. Also, didn’t understand Mainoo being played as the deeper midfielder today after watching his England performances higher up.
We desperately need a positionally aware DM…again.

Hard to believe our last game happened. All that rush if adrenaline lost in international travels. Laughable stuff. If we played any slower in that first half it would have officially qualified for walking football.
