1 CS in 8 games. This is not a defenders' game anymore.

67 from 10 for me, with Salah left.

Defence once again shat the bed and I have more injuries after using my WC than before (Gusto, Lascelles, Watkins and Saka still unclear but probably OK), with Gordon also out for their best game in this green run.

Best thing today was my Palmer captain choice. Just need Haaland to stay quiet tomorrow.

Typical FPL week:

- Missed the Palmer buy so had to pay 0.1 extra for him, pricing me out of my other move that I wanted.

- Sold Bowen and he hauls. That's the second time that's happened. He is now on official troll territory.

- My rival captains Son, who looked like he might blank and then scores late on.

- Twatkins injured but I can't get to Haaland with one move thanks to Palmer price going up.

- Solanke looked likely to drop price yesterday so I thought I'll wait until today to bring him in... He doesn't, Toney that useless fraud (he is in my team) drops instead.

- Salah misses penalty and gets booked (putting this here for later).

:(. I can see this happening easily. Hopefully he doesn't get sent off as well.

So annoying to have to root semi-seriously for my one remaining attacker because lots of people have him as C and I need Palmer to stay top dog for that this week.

Continuing with the hit Netflix series “how the xxxx do FPL get their BPS?!”

Diaz is top (ok, he scored), Bradley is second :nono: (no CS, no goal, no assist) and Verbruggen/Welbeck =third (ok, saves and a goal).

Salah is tenth
It's because I Captain him and my rival did not have him. Simply because of that. I know it. I quit.

That captain Salah low key haul means nothing against the Palmer captainers in the ML. Not a bad week, but not good either

Ditto. He was a bench defender to be honest, but one I may well have used in the coming weeks
I needed him for my BB34. Now, I've got Gusto, him and Twatkins out. First, it's Haaland but then I dont really know because defence is the lowest priority this season

FFS, Pep the fraud didn't put Alvarez on, so my rival gets 5 points for Toney.

It'll be convenient if Haaland is out for a couple of GWs because of head injury but fat chance.

Just hope Saka can play because of the Gordon moronics.

Is Zinkencho ever going to come back for feck's sake? I've avoided selling him for Gabriel for about 2 months cos I keep seeing he'll be back soon.

This is the second time I've had Saliba versus City and benched him. Meanwhile, my rival played double Arse defence and got 13 points...

I'd move him on, especially if you have a WC. If Zinchenko ever comes back into this Arse squad, it's probably an end to their CS streak.

Also, Timber is being primed to come back, so with Tomiyasu and Kiwior, Zinchenko should hold bench indefinitely.

Got away with the risky 11.59am captain change from Salah to Son in the end.

Also negligible that the 11.59.30am attempt to bench Saka and play Garnacho didn't go through!

I've set the team already for the next game week, so no last min messing!

I need to now take a hit to bring back Haaland in 2 weeks.

I will definitely do Twatkins to Solanke and Toney to Haaland.

Which one of the below seems better choice?

Reguilon to Van Hecke, who has a double later on and will just stay on the bench until then.

Or I do Madison to Havertz... But I lose the Madison 2x DGW towards the back end of the season (unless I bring him back in after GW35).

Spurs games (or lack of) are poor and holding quite expensive players seems silly but on the other hand… Havertz?! Why Havertz?

64. Could’ve been 72 if made different bench choices but who’d pick City/Arse defenders given other fixtures?

Still think WC was right decision as even with Lascelles and Gusto injuries, still well set and can do a tfr per week to tweak.
Similar, 70 here, wc used.

Team looks in great shape for the midweekers without a transfers and then a bit of sway to react to things / beef up the doubles.

Yep, did wonder this one. Big rotation risk with Jesus.
Martinelli would be the one I'd gamble on, provided he's back starting next game week.

74 all out, defence let me down big time, with Saliba on bench.

62 (-4). Feel a bit hard done by this week again. Watkins to Haaland done.

Neto
Gabriel Reguillon Udogie
Son Salah (c) Saka Palmer Maddison
Toney Haaland

Weighing up whether Toney to Isak for a hit is worth it. Not sure it is.

With Watkins about to seemingly fall, I don't want to lose more team value after the Salah and Norris delay cost me (and before that Colwill) but I need to get back to double Arsenal defence.

Main question is therefore do I spend my FT on the attack or defense when I'm not sure Haaland is even worth at this point.

I’ve got three Spurs players too. Need to think about when to bail (unless you’ve still got WC)… I def will post Forest.

  • West Ham (away)
  • Forest (home)
  • Newcastle (away)
  • No game
  • Arsenal (home)
  • Liverpool (away)
Two hard games, two 50/50s, one easy, one blank. Not a great set of fixtures?

West Ham, Forest and Newcastle concede for fun. If you're playing FH in GW34 then no Spurs that week is not an issue.

Then there's 4 weeks left and Spurs have 6 games to play, so that's 2x doubles in the last 4 game weeks, which also includes Burnley and Sheffield United.

That's the reason I'm reluctant to sell Spurs assets.

My mistake of not buying Palmer before he rose in price really fecked me and I'll have to take a -4 within the next two GW's to bring in Haaland after the Villa game, unless the yeti drops in price (or Solanke).

Yeah same. Happy to play them all in the next 3 before free hit then will probably bench Maddison and Udogie in 35. The tougher fixtures usually suit Son anyway.

I might actually bench boost in 36 looking at the fixtures as well.

Maddison is definitely a weak link though. Just wish I had a better option than Morris to rotate him with.

Just WCd - idea is to FH 34 and BB 37. Any advice welcome as I've definitely overthought it.

Raya
Dalot
Gusto
Gabriel
Palmer
Son
Salah
Maddison
Foden
Hojlund
Haaland
Ortega (filler)
Jackson
Taylor
Mengi

Thinking I may bring Gordon in instead of Maddison for the double and use the change to upgrade Mengi or Taylor.

FFS. I thought the values worked in 0.2's?

I had Twatkins at 8.7. He was 9.0 real value. He went down to 8.9 but it's 8.6 on my team?

Have they changed the rules? I fecking hate this game.
