81 points after the bonuses I think. Palmer , Foden and Garnacho all double digit hauls.

When only players who stopped playing months ago don't have the guy who just ruined our evening, there's not even the slightest crumb of comfort in that hattrick.

40 point captain. What about you?
Salah, Nunez as vice captain. Foden and Palmer in my team too.:lol:

Can't complain too much about a 79 point week, just wanted to get through in the 'caf cup and I think I did it. Was touch and go until Palmer late on, that Bradley OG helped me out too. 79-68 I think.

It's mental how many penalties Chelsea have had. I remember passing up on Palmer at one point, thinking they'd had more than their fair share this season. 11 now, 3 more than anyone else for a mid-table team. 7th in non penalty xG so it's not like the penalties are a result of sheer pressure they put on opponents.

Honestly, hard to go against Palmer if he's at home. Salah has been less than stellar since coming back from injury.

This week Palmer was the clear pick with my hindsight crystal ball because of his home record and the fact Salah had a total of 1 goal against SHU in 5 PL games.

He's away to Sheffield though. Both Sheffield and United defend horribly, however I probably have a little more confidence in Salah grabbing a goal as he loves playing us. Also, most of my mates who I am currently chasing are going to captain Palmer so it will be a good opportunity to catch up (or fall behind even more).

Couldn’t give one feck

Looks like this week has broken a few of us. I've gone from a 20 point lead this week to 7 points behind. fecked it.

Might just do Saka to Foden this week. Probably gonna captain Salah as much as possible as well. Rival doesn't own him so it's as good a differential as you can get really.

Before WC:
- broke into top 50k OR
- caught up with main rival (only 3 points behind)
- raced away from other main rival.

After WC:
- dropped out of the top 100k OR
- main rival now 40+ points ahead
- other main rival now 10 points ahead

I think it all started with my stupid WC. If I didn't do that, I would have kept Palmer for a previous haul and also Foden. I wouldn't have had useless "assets" like Maddison & Reguilon. Would have had double Arse defense etc. so much went wrong with that WC and in a few weeks fecked up the really good season I was having :(

Now I have no idea how I catch up as the two above me have very similar team to me. This is probably my season over at this point.

You wait until we're outscored by non FH's in 34 as well. The pain has only just begun.

Unexpectedly, if you think back to last season, Haaland cappa Vs palace may actually be a differential this week...

I accidentally had my team unchanged with Palmer still captain

Also got jammy with Saka and Haaland not playing, enabling Garnacho and Ait Nouri to come on.

Get the feck out of this thread. This is only for us players who need to be talked away from the ledge.

I'm sorry my friend. If it helps I am having the absolute worst season - comfortably worse than you I'm sure. I'm someone who needed one week of good luck, and I'm just happy it came

Amazing. Proving once again that most of the time you're better off falling asleep and doing nothing.

Looks like Chelsea v Spurs will go into GW35. Has been announced for 2nd May on Sky Sports.

GW35 doubles

Villa v Chelsea on Saturday 27th April
Spurs v Arsenal on Sunday 28th April
Chelsea v Spurs on Thursday 2nd May

Pretty shit but then they weren't much better in 36 either.

Also debating to go Morris to Cunha, especially with the Wolves double coming up in GW34 already. I wanna plan for that GW but can't find any good options.

I still can't believe Morris is the highest scoring budget forward (under £6.3m). Feels like he just decided "feck this" the moment I transferred him in. I plan to go him to Jao Pedro maybe next week. Might as well end the season where it all started with some De Zerbi football terrorism.

I feel you, brought him in around the same time as you I think (Bournemouth-Luton DGW wildcard disaster).

My luck is that I transferred in Palmer last GW and Foden/Nunez this GW so got a nice 40 points from that combo this past GW, while a lot of teams in my ML don't have Foden yet/anymore. But Nunez/Toney as forward options alongside Morris isn't looking very tasty for this weekend.

The issue is that most of our team are injured so he barely gets any chances and we're scoring less goals as a whole.

My Wildcard GW31 team went fairly well. Foden over Haaland a nice early win on that gamble, though definitely lucky.

Also a bit torn on captaincy this week. Not making any transfers, and will make a double transfer next week before FH34.

It's Salah or Palmer for me. Still torn. Palmer feels too obvious, but may just go for it.

I'm thinking to captain Son this week, before replacing him with Salah for the double game week.

I thought most of your injuries were in defence?

Are you gonna start him against Bournemouth?
Nah we're also missing Adebayo in attack and with Lokonga injured, it means Barkley plays deeper and too far away from Morris.

I've sold him to Solanke. I dunno who to captain. Might do Palmer I guess.

Shame. Yeah Adebayo was on fire for you before he got injured.

I can't afford Morris to anyone much more expensive than him. Might wait until tomorrow for some early City leaks and bring back Foden early (for Saka) if he's confirmed to be starting again.

Toney will do nowt again but you know he'll bang against Sheffield United in 33. Can't sell him before that can we.

Depends on your remaining chips:
If you’ve already spent your FH and WC it might be worth a shot
If you plan on FH’ing 34, you only want 37 doublers, so no.
If you plan to deadend into 34 and WC 35, then sure.

Best striker options for 34 is Solanke, Darwin and Mateta/Cunha if you’re going 343, in my book.

I have my FH and BB left so ill use the FH in GW34 and start transferring in players so i have 15 doublers for the BB in 37.

Thats the plan anyway.

Has to be 5 mids though really doesn't it. You'll want 2 Liverpool, 2 Arsenal and probably Eze.

Salah cap for me. I can see Liverpool be in the mood for revenge and I think we looked knackered on Thursday.

Gonna Captain Salah I think. Palmer playing the worst team though so it is enticing. Not gonna go Haaland or Son.

Richarlison is out so Son will be playing central, where he doesn't look as good.

But I feel its kinda likely that Palmer will have a quiet game after his hat trick last night.

Maybe worth captaining Muniz against a makeshift Newcastle defence?

Have many of you chaps got on Muniz? 8 goals in 8 games. There's some clever cnut out there who managed to get 7 of those 8 I'm sure.
